Adam Lambert: “If I Can’t Have You”

Just got off the plane and the very first thing I did was go online to check out last night’s AMERICAN IDOL performances. Adam Lambert once again sets out to shock and awe. It was disco night. I thought for sure he’d ham it up. Nope. He takes us all by surprise with the beautifully arranged rendition of “If I Can’t Have You”.

Is there a way this guy can lose? I don’t know if an IDOL has ever deserved it more.

    When a song brings you to tears you know its good. YOU know he should win, Yes there are a couple other contestants that are good but not as good and we all no that. Like I have said before, this young man is going to be hot, hot, hot!!!!

    Haunting, mesmerizing performance. Adam Lambert is THE AMERICAN IDOL the show was designed to discover. He is a phenomenon.

    Ohhhh..Adam Adam Adam Adam Adam. Hes one hell of a new singer we should be looking at now. He studied David Cook, accept judges criticism and advise and better himself every single week. That’s a True star we talking about. Can’t wait for the Finals Now!!! Love Adam Lambert.

    Adam was really amazing on Disco Night…I was totally surprised with what he did to the song…Really hope he wins AI! I totally agree with you: don’t know if an IDOL has ever deserved it more!

    I think that Adam’s performance of this song is one of the most beautiful things that I have ever heard. The disco version of this song is good, but when I heard his version I simply fell in love with it. His hauntingly flawless vocals are absolutely wonderful. I watch this video everyday. This was my favorite performance of his for the 2009 season. Adam, you are a true champion and I’m sorry that you didn’t win.

    I CANT GET OVER ADAM LAMBERT HE IS SO UNIQUE AND WITH THIS SONG TEARS TO YOUR EYES.. HE DESERVES GREAT THINGS IN LIFE.. HE IS SUCH A SPECIAL YOUNG MAN.. I JUST LOVE HIM.. I CANT STOP LISTENING TO HIS SONGS.. HIS VOICE.. IT IS JUST MEMORIZING . HE IS A NEW GREAT YOUNG MAN TO SING HE IS GOING TO GO FAR..     I still can’t believe that he lost. Although I wanted Kris to be in the finale, I thought that Adam was the better entertainer. I absolutely love this rendition of If I Can’t Have You.
