I think Sam’s dad is Nick, of course. I hope they don’t wrap it up so neatly but Bryan Greenberg is adorable. I really want to see the last 15 minutes!
Nick is probably the dad. I’m really interested to see how they wrap up Nick and Hannah’s relationship; it’d be nice if things didn’t work out perfectly, but it would be nice just to have them say they were going to try to date. I’m much more interested if Eddie and Janice work things out, to be honest.
Probably Nick, but I want to find out what happens with the other characters…pizza girl…the barmaid chick that would be the hottest woman around anyplace but on TV, and the fat guy that looks like Mike Golic and is on Lost now.
And I hope there’s an extra on the DVD that explains why they changed the actor playing the kid. The new one sucked.
Please please please let me win this!!! If I do, I am certain it would end up with some kissy kissy with the wife!!!!
I don’t think Nick is Sam’s dad, but I think they’ll end up together. It wasn’t the best show ever, but I’d like to see how it all ends.
I think Nick is Sam’s dad. I want to see what happens with everyone. The characters on this show were so good.
I don’t think Nick is the dad and I don’t think the two of them will end up together. I think they will both settle down with other people and be happy. I think in the end Nick will have a son of his own but not with Hannah. I think it will be someone totally different that we haven’t seen or haven’t seen much of yet. Hannah will settle down with the handsome but evil other guy she’s engaged to and Nick will finally be able to get over her, be happy for her, and get on with his own life.
I think Pizza Girl and the Shut In will get married in his house and in the end he’ll come out of the house for Nick’s wedding to the girl who is caring his child.
That’s my guess. I hope I win. I’m the only one in my family that followed this show. I was hoping maybe Direct TV would pick up this series like they did Friday Night Lights then I could watch it without commercials. I think Direct TV should do this with more of the show the networks didn’t pick up but had a loyal following.
To avoid a pretty bow, I don’t think Nick will be the dad….but I do think that he and Hannah will end up together. Or at least that’s the ending I’ll be satisfied with. I watched this show for Bryan Greenberg, I hope he shows up on my tv again soon.
I”m thinking Nick will be the Dad. That does seem a little too easy so then it may not be the case. I’ll still guess Nick. I think it’s great that they wrapped up the show for the DVD set. How awesome. At least fans won’t get just left with no resolution as happens on so many other shows that get cancelled.

a. I think Sam’s father is Nick. I do. The stupid peanut butter allergy from seaons one had me sticking with that theory for a while now.
b. I really hope Nick and Hannah end up together. It would be really cool. “Big Cat” doesn’t really deserve Hannah.
Would it help to say the dvd comes out on my birthday? Yes/no?
Thinking Nick is the father. Had the show run longer I would’ve loved to see the twist of Eddie being the dad just becuase of the complicated mess and good storylines that could ensure. If the wrap-up was more than fifteen minutes, I would think of a curveball (i.e. Eddie) but with that small amount of time I’m going with Nick. Like Alyson said above, I’m more interested in the Eddie/Janice relationship that Nick/Hannah.
Love love love that they were able to get the whole cast and crew back together to give the fans a conclusion to the show. Classy move.

Nick is definitely Sam’s dad. Their connection was way to strong. I hope Hannah and Nick don’t get together. He needs to be with someone who isn’t so whiny. I really loved the Eddie/Janice relationship.
i think eddie is sam’s father, because revealing that nick has been all along is way too obvious. but i believe that when nick finds out, he’ll still feel an incredible connection to hannah and sam and it will reiterate for both he and hannah that they should be together, regardless of everything they’ve been through. i really miss this show!
I always thought Nick was the father, the peanut allergy made me believe for sure. But I really wanted to see Eddie and Janice and how that played out, one for the big girls you know? 🙂
I think Eddie is the Dad, but I’d like to see Nick and Hannah together. I think the three of them would make a great family. Sam deserves a great father and I think Nick could be that for him.
So I was left with the thinking it had to be Eddie as the father, and Hannah and Nick *somehow* worked things out. I was always bothered by how we saw Eddie and Janice end their relationship, so I’d love to see if there was some resolution to that..or what happens all around!
I think that Nick is the father (I really hope so!), but I think that Hannah will end up marrying “Big Cat”. She has more of a recent history with him, and I think that she doesn’t really trust Nick to stay around long term. (Even though I wish that Hannah and Nick would end up together.)

sadly, i have never had the chance to check out this show! so i have no idea who the characters are. I would love to check it out though. So let me just make up some jibberish… (a) Sam’s dad is the mailman (duh). and (b) one of them will die!
I think Nick is Sam’s dad and that Nick and Hannah will end up together. I’m so glad that the creators took the time and money to wrap this series up.

I think Nick and Hannah will stay broken up, at least for the mean time they’ll probably go through some other crap though.
Unfortunately I think that Eddie is the father. They have these private moments where she begs for his silence, and it’s leading me to believe that after high school, when Nick left, she was so alone and upset that she and Eddie had a fling. I hope that Hannah and Nick end up together, but if they don’t, I think he will at least get her to realize what a jerk Big Cat is and leave perhaps. Perhaps they are just going to leave us watching Nick and Hannah get to know each other better as adults moving on from the past, yet leaning on each other to do it; as in a friends-to-future lovers path!!
(PS I loved the Eddie/Janet storyline, hope that his little brother gets some loving soon too!)
DAMN I WISH THIS SHOW NEVER ENDED….WHY DO ALL THE ORIGINAL-IDEA SHOWS FADE?????????????????????????????????????? If I have to watch another cookie-cutter, plain jane, sarcastic, goofball, dad-with-his-family sitcoms, or another hospital / crime solving show….I’ll croak!!! Bring on the October Roads, the Chuck’s, the Ex-Lists, the Life on Mars, and the Mentalists type shows….at least they all take an original stab at entertainment that we feel is family!!!
I think Nick is the father. I think Hannah may in the short term have stayed with Big Cat. In the long run, Hannah and Nick would have gotten together they seemed to have a love that wouldn’t quit.

I won’t spoil a thing as I never watched the show. So why comment you say? My 13 year-old niece adored the show — the only one she made her big sis DVR for her every week as it was past bedtime. I’m entering for her.

I definitely think Nick is the dad. Too many similarities and everything points to him. I’d love to see Nick and Hannah get back together – I enjoyed this show – sad to see it go.
I think that Eddie is Sam’s dad and of course Nick won’t ever forgive Hannah for her betrayal of being with Eddie and keeping it from him all these years. Nick will end up leaving again and his brother will end up with his Nick’s girlfriend Aubrey.
They’ve got to get together in the end, right? My answer to part (B).
