We ponder whether or not guest judge Ellen DeGeneres was a necessary addition to the show and more importantly if a backstory can manipulate the audience to the point that it corrupts the purpose of the show.

    Can’t wait to listen to this one! I want to know what you guys thought of Ellen, Mia, and the sappy dance number. Because I feel like a jerk for only being “slightly moved” by it. And a bonus podcast for the 100th episode?! Awesome! You guys ROCK!

    I absolutely loved Ade and Melissa’s number. But regardless of whether you were moved or not, you guys should check out these behind the scenes interviews with all the SYTYCD contestants in gendance.     Loved the jazzy Broadway routine by Jason and Kayla. Jason is trending up since they’ve switched partners (when Caitlin left), much like Courtney did last season.

    Ade and jeanine have the best solos every week. Last week Jason had a good one, but his split jumps actually make him seem INflexible since he doesn’t get a full split like many other guys do. Ade is a good spinner, it makes me miss seeing Danny.

    Loved both Tice routines. He hit it out of the park!

    Evan and Melissa should go tonight. I’m crossing my fingers because I don’t want to see anyone else leave!
