Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Thursday, August 6, 2009

Congratulations…you’ve made it to Thursday. In honor of this great achievement I’ve pulled together a full night of wonderful TV for you.

You all know me by now to know what my BIG show is tonight…yes, it’s the finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.  Despite having company tonight, I’m going to do my best my live blog the finale, so I hope you join us at 8pm est!

The other show I’m super excited about tonight is BIG BROTHER.  Fingers are still crossed that Ronnie is going home, but more important tonight we find out who won the very power coup d’etat.  Please please please don’t spoil me 🙂

And over on USA it’s the mid-season finales for both BURN NOTICE and ROYAL PAINS, so you don’t want to miss either of those.

Big Brother 11 | 8pm on CBS
In tonight’s episode, the houseguests are going to evict either Ronnie formerly of the “Brains” clique or Lydia, the unstable tattoo lady of the “Off Beats”. More importantly, the audience will learn which houseguest was awarded the powerful coup d’etat. A new HOH will be revealed. I’l be updating the results live so stay tuned.

So You Think You Can Dance | 8pm on Fox
The Rage Boyz Crew performs; Talia Fowler, winner of season two of “So You Think You Can Dance Australia” performs; the winner is announced. NeNe hopes to make amends with Kim; Lisa and Ed have their first fertility visit; Kandi works on her solo album. [GMMR: After episode one I can already tell I don’t like these housewives as much as I did those crazy broads from NJ.]

Royal Pains | 10pm on USA

Hank and Divya treat a girl who develops bizarre symptoms after falling off a horse; Hank believes the girl’s father is hiding something; the arrival of Jill’s ex-husband throws Hank for a loop.plans.
