Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Tuesday, August 11, 2009

In case you missed my note yesterday, I’m once again without a computer. My precious Mac Book Pro is being worked on by the fine people at the Apple Store.  Things might be wonky here over the next few days but I’ll try my best.  I’ll still be Twittering (like I could be stopped), so keep up with my updates at Twitter.com/GMMR.

Each team is asked to create two appetizers and an entree for a U.S. Marine’s welcome home party; Ramsay boils over when one team sends out cold food during the dinner service. [GMMR: Has there ever been an episode when he doesn’t treat people like dirt?]

Ruby & The Rockits | 8:30pm on ABC Family
“It’s My Party and I’ll Lie if I Want To”
Ruby’s party to impress the popular girls is overshadowed by David’s rival bash; Patrick and Audie go away for the weekend.

Warehouse 13 | 9pm on Syfy
“Burnout”
Pete and Myka must complete the hunt for an artifact for a long-dead agent. [GMMR:Yikes! I just realized that I never watched last week’s episode of BURNOUT…I have to get on that.]

Ted tries to make Linda’s dream of a green company come true, but his secret efforts on her behalf turn into the project everybody wants a part in; Veronica’s surprising secret life is revealed; Linda decides to fix Ted up with her former roommate (Rachelle Lefevre). [GMMR:Ted RUN!!  Don’t go out with the new girl…she’s a vampire!]

Big Brother 11 | 9pm on CBS
Strangers coexist in a house hoping to win the cash prize. On tonight’s episode we will see this week’s POV competition as well as the POV ceremony…I think. [GMMR: I know who wins and whether or not the veto is used.  Love this season!]

“Mother’s Day”
Christina leaves Bobbie in charge while she goes into a budget battle with Morrissey; Christina is given until the end of the day to lay of six nurses; Kelly refutes Dr. Marshall’s treatment of a stroke patient. [GMMR: Congrats to HawthoRNe on its second season pickup!]

Saving Grace | 10pm on TNT
“Looks Like a Lesbian Attack to Me”
The squad investigates the death of a parole officer; Grace and Johnny finally track down Neely; Rhetta makes some personal changes in the wake of her problems with her husband.

“David”
Kelly, a headstrong woman who was recently saved by the crew, continues to probe the firehouse for men; Tommy steps in to put a halt to Kelly’s advances on Damian; Lou approaches Needles to act as a buffer to Tommy.
