Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Tuesday, September 8, 2009

September 8, 2009 by

I guess it’s time  to officially welcome you to the 2009 Fall TV season. The always eager CW is the first to arrive to the party with the return of 90210 and the premiere of MELROSE PLACE (and suddenly I’m transported back to college…bizarre).  Over on FX, they have the season premiere SONS OF ANARCHY. The other networks will be rolling out their new shows and returning favorites over the next few weeks. I’ll be posting a schedule of premiere dates later today so you know exactly when newbies and old faves will be returning.

This is SO exciting (and overwhelming) but exciting! Bring it on Fall TV, I’m (mostly) ready for ya!

What will YOU be watching? Come on…don’t be shy. That’s what the comments are there for! It’s Fall TV – I want some enthusiasm, people!

Nothing American for me yet … today is possibly the last episode of SYTYCD Canada that I will be able to watch. They’re down to Top 16, but I’m aware that SYTYCD US starts tomorrow, and will probably be monopolizing my time from therein. Is it strange that I can’t remember how SYTYCD runs? Is it performance Weds, results on Thurs? If so, SYTYCD Canada can perhaps stay.

I’ll be watching the finale of 10 Things (I’ve shocked myself in that I watch this show EVERY week, and I completely expected to hate it. The actors are really good though and the dialogue is pretty witty. Another score for ABC Family).

Speaking of regressing to high school Kath, I’ll be watching 90210 (why oh why am I still watching this despite the fact that I cannot STAND Annie and Naomi who are in the show A LOT?? It’s beyond me). I’m also going to give Melrose a shot, but it’s not a show I’m expecting to stick with. The podcast is what convinced me to even give it a shot, actually. Oh, and thanks for confirming that there is absolutely no reason to watch The Beautiful Life when it starts.

Lastly, thanks for the tip re: the Curb special! I’m so excited for this Seinfeld (non) reunion!
