GLEE Summer Tour Dates Announced!

I’m proud to be a GLEEker! I’m not sure if I can wait until September for this show to come back. I need my GLEE..now! Lucky for me it was announced just today that Boston is the first stop on the ten city GLEE summer tour. Next month I’ll be able to see and hear my favorite GLEEkers live and in person. Hot damn!
You can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be there that day, and that I’ll do my best to get whatever access I can to get you as much GLEE scoop as possible. You think I can convince Fox to let Ducky and I take the GLEE kids out for a little karaoke here in Boston (I only ask because that’s the very conversation Ducky & I had this morning before we knew about the tour…I kid you not!)
Could I be more excited?! (In case you were wondering, the answer is NO!)
From Fox…

WAREHOUSE 13: Claudia
July 29, 2009 by Sarah Curtis
Filed under #1 featured, Posts by Sarah (Seels), Warehouse 13
Hmmm…..….I wish we were sitting around talking about this episode together, because I’m more anxious to hear YOUR thoughts than to share mine. I will share them, but I hope you will too, in the comments.
This week’s episode felt a little more intense than the others, and it starts out by Artie being kidnapped for a mistake he may have made with an experiment years ago. His kidnapper is our title character, Claudia. It’s up to Pete and Myka to help save him. If he WANTS to be saved, that is!
She’s an orphan, feisty and funny and smart, and through flashback, we learn that her older brother, Joshua was some sort of student of Artie’s.
Speaking of Joshua, was anyone else surprised when he also came back alive? That felt kind of ANTI-climactic for me, actually. Not that I wanted him to die, but that kind of seemed to be where the plot was moving, right? Sacrifice the brother for the sister, and then she becomes part of their ragtag operation. But since Joshua is still alive, will he also be part of the group? Will he turn evil and turn against the warehouse team? Is he going to age all of a sudden? You see, these are questions I need answers to.

Jamie Bamber to Guest on DOLLHOUSE

Another former BSGer will be guesting on DOLLHOUSE this season. The rumors about Jamie Bamber’s appearance started during Comic Con weekend but they were confirmed today. He will be guesting on DOLLHOUSE’s second season, and we might see him as early as the premiere episode. He’s going to resume shooting with the show this week.
Here’s to hoping he shares at least one scene with Tahmoh Penikett, who played Karl ‘Helo’ Agathon to Bamber’s Lee ‘Apollo’ Adama during their BATTLESTAR GALACTICA days.

Watch the CHUCK Panel at Comic Con

Woo to the Hoo! NBC.com has just published the full CHUCK panel from Comic Con. As soon as it’s embeddable I’ll be sure to post it right here on GMMR.
What isn’t included in the NBC video (due to copyright issues) is the killer Jeffster opening. But don’t fret you can see that by clicking here: Jeffster Rocks Out at CHUCK’s Comic Con Panel
I haven’t yet been able to watch the whole panel but you can bet that I’ll be watching it over and over again (let’s face it, this is probably the only time I’m ever going to get a personal shout out…from Josh Schwartz…during Comic Con.)
If nothing else, I hope you feel the love from the cast and creative team of CHUCK. I can tell you that they are truly thankful for what the fans did to save the show. But it’s not over. Stay tuned to GMMR for more ways you can help CHUCK become the ratings hit we all know it should be.
UPDATE: Check out the exclusive video that the creative team behind CHUCK put together exclusively for Comic Con.
…and one more time because I’m an asshat.
Project SUPERNATURAL Update – Season 2, Half Way Point
July 27, 2009 by Kath Skerry
Filed under #1 featured, Project Supernatural, Supernatural, TV News
Slow and steady wins the race, right? Perhaps not when the 5th season premiere of SUPERNATURAL is getting closer by the day. That’s good news for all your SUPERNATURAL fans, but not so much for those of us who are trying to play a little catch up.
I’m still going though. I’m trying. And since today I hit the mid-way point of Season 2, I thought I’d share a quick update of where I am. For those of you who follow me on Twitter and/or listen to The TV Talk Podcast, you’ve been getting some Project SUPERNATURAL updates from time-to-time. I’ll continue to Twitter for quick one-off thoughts while I’m watching, and the podcast will be the place I can go a little more in-depth about what I’ve been watching. But here’s a run down of the most recent P.S. episodes.
- “In My Time of Dying” – The great thing about watching seasons back-to-back is that I only have to wait as long as it takes the DVD player to load to find out what happened after the cliffhangery season finales. This first episode back was a doozy. Dead Dean. Dead John. The Reaper. THE Demon. This episode was a real turning point as things got a lot darker for Dean after Daddy whispered those words. TO be honest, I thought John whispered to Dean that he was going to die so Dean could live. I thought that was what had been haunting Dean. Not so much…the news about Sammy? Well that was just cruel, John Winchester.
- “Everybody Loves A Clown” – For the record, everybody does NOT love a clown. Not sure how I made it through this episode. But I will tell you that I didn’t enjoy it…not one scary bit.
- “Bloodlust” – I remember that I watched this particular episode on a Sunday. Earlier in the day I watched Buffy’s “Once More with Feeling” (just for the fun of it). In the afternoon I watched “Twilight” (because that’s what I do…I watch “Twilight”. That night I turned on HBO and watched a new episode of TRUE BLOOD and then I sat down to watch SUPERNATURAL and this is the first episode I watched. I was vampired out to say that least. But had to laugh at the irony of yet another story in which the vampires were good and never went after humans. Clearly I was sensing a theme. Also fun to see Amber Benson from BUFFY playing a vamp. Not my favorite, but seeing how this episode introduced Gordon Walker and was clearly a set up for an important ep later in the season, I can appreciate it more now.
- “Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things” – Dead chick out for revenge. I didn’t hate it, but it it felt like a filler episode for me. It did serve as an episode where more of Dean’s dark behavior surfaced. This seemed like one of the first episode where he let his dark side rule his decision making. He started getting scary. And is it wrong that I kind of liked it?
BIG BROTHER Nomination Ceremony & Spoilers from Inside the House
July 27, 2009 by Kath Skerry
Filed under Big Brother, Big Brother Spoilers
I know I don’t usually talk about BIG BROTHER mid-week, but now that everyone knows that Jessie put Michelle and Jordan up for eviction, I had to get your take on what’s going on in the house. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to spoil, but I can say this…Jessie is not the best player in this game – Natalie is. She has manipulated Jessie at every turn. He does what she wants him to do. They are a perfect pair. She runs around the house gathering intel; he wins the competition and stays in a power position. As a pair they are strong.
What you didn’t see….
Can’t say much about the eviction stuff until after the POV ceremony so I’ll hold off on that for now. But what we can talk about is Jessie and his women. Jessie is into Natalie. Natalie flirts back just enough to keep him interested. She’s always reminding him about the boyfriend at home, but I think that’s in part to keep Jessie chasing after her. He does like a challenge. Lydia is into Jessie. If you watched CBS it seems that Jessie isn’t that into Lydia…but the live feeds tell a different story. Well, that’s not true. I don’t think Jessie is really into Lydia at all, except at night or when they are alone together in the HOH. Then she becomes quite “handy” to him. Natalie is a big target for Lydia because with Natalie gone she thinks she’ll have Jessie all to herself. Silly girl. Clearly Lydia played this game to find a man and not to win the $500k.
Ok, that’s all for now. Just had to check in.
I know who won the POV. I’m pretty sure I know where the votes are going to go this week. Should be interesting to see what CBS decides to air. More on Thursday after the eviction.
