People’s Choice Award Winners
January 7, 2010 by Kath Skerry
It’s only when it’s up to the people that great shows on The CW walk away as the victors. And that’s just what happened last night when both The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural took home People’s Choice Awards. Other shows like Glee, House, and The Big Bang Theory were winners too.
Fans of The Office got a special treat during Steve Carell’s acceptance People’s Choice Award speech. Hilarious!
Check out the full list of nominees and winners (in red) in each category. Just for fun I added in a little * next to who I voted for. You’ll notice that I didn’t always vote for my favorite shows/actors in each category. Sometimes it’s nice for new people to get some recognition. Tell us who YOU thought should have taken home the PCA in each category.

Maybe I’m just bitter about (500) Days of Summer not winning, but can someone tell me how Inglourious Basterds is considered an independent movie? And as much as I was thrilled Alyson Hannigan won for best tv comedy actress, the win adds to my theory that if you’re on a CBS show and you show up to the show, then your odds of winning go up by 50 percent.
Twilight makes me sick…Harry Potter is a far superior series. How is Twilight a series with only two movies? Harry Potter is more captivating, better story line, better characters, better acting, better cinematography. Damn the tweens!
