SUPERNATURAL’s Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles Have a Message for Their Fans
January 27, 2010 by Kath Skerry
If you’ve been religiously following the Twitter or Facebook updates from SUPERNATURAL’s Jared Padalecki or Jensen Ackles, then this is going to be a tough pill to swallow. The people you have been following have been fakes. Impostors. Perhaps employees of The Trickster.
In this video message from Jared and Jensen, the guys confirm that neither participate in any social network.
This is a good reminder not to be fooled by celebrity fakedom. If you think you found a legit celebrity on Twitter then look for the “Verified Account” symbol. If it’s not there then there’s a good chance you’re being pranked by someone posing as someone famous online. A little pathetic if you ask me. Characters accounts are one thing, but pretending to be someone you’re not is more than a little creepy.

Not only creepy, but it should be illegal and punishable. At least one of these creeps lured a young girl out to meet him. That could have gone really bad, but luckily didn’t. So yeah, beware folks, they’re not only pathetic, but sick and maybe dangerous. Kudos to Jared, Jensen and their bodyguard Clif for doing this video and getting the message out there.
I hadn’t heard that. So disturbing!
