First Look At Syfy’s HAVEN
June 16, 2010 by Marisa Roffman
Are we the only ones really excited for HAVEN?
As you’ll see in the preview below, Haven, Maine is a small town with a lot of secrets. Emily Rose plays Agent Audrey Parker, an outsider who comes to town on a routine case, but, of course, it all goes awry.
Also on board is Eric Balfour, who plays a mysterious stranger — you’ll see he has the “WTF does he mean?!” lines in the promo — and Lucas Bryant plays a local cop.
Take a look…
Syfy will be debuting the new original series — loosely based on Stephen King’s novella “The Colorado Kid” — on Friday, July 9 at 10.
Will you be tuning in?

I’m intrigued by “Haven” but I have two concerns. Even though I’ve liked the performances in supporting roles Ive seen Emily Rose play, I’m not convinced she can headline a series. My other concern is Eric Balfour. I don’t know why that guy keeps getting acting jobs. He’s terrible.
I haven’t heard anything about it until now, but maybe I’ll check it out.
Sing it, Bruce. I have NEVER understood the appeal of Balfour. He completely baffles me…or should I say ‘balfours’ me. No? I shouldn’t say that? Damn…too late.
This one I haven’t heard of – but I will check it out!
Could have potential…at least syfy usually gives their series time to pick up viewers before cancelling- unlike the networks!!!
i’m actually quite thrilled for this. i’m not sure if anyone remembers SyFy’s mini series “The Lost Room”? now that was great. and this one sounds like its gonna be awesome. these are the kinds of series i watch ttv for.
Where is this filmed??
