Syfy Adds New TV Memorabilia Reality Show
June 16, 2010 by Marisa Roffman
Oh, yes, just what TV nerds need… another reason to stay home at night.
EW’s Michael Ausiello is reporting that Syfy has ordered HUNTING HOLLYWOOD, a documentary-style series which showcases hard core memorabilia collectors on the prowl for rare items.
Joe Maddalena — owner of Profiles in History, a popular memorabilia auctioneer — will host the series.
Sucks that we’ll clearly be wasting more of our hard-earned cash, hitting up eBay after episodes finish, trying to find cool props and stuff too.
Whatever, you know there’s some sort of TV or movie thing that you’re dying to own. If you could get your hands on something specific, what would it be?

I will totally be watching this. New guilty pleasure reality show.
Nice, Erik!
Sarah, I know, I’ll be completely watching this. And envying the money these people have to go out and buy outrageous things.
It’s totally impractical/impossible, but I want the Lost hatch. Or Mulder’s actual “I Want to Believe” poster. (yes, I have the replica. I AM A NERD.) Or maybe the frame from Monica’s apartment on Friends. OOH, or anything from Pushing Daisies or Wonderfalls or Dead Like Me.
Um…yeah, I’m clearly gonna be watching this. And then cursing the people for getting the cool things first.
I want the Metalicar. Not that I would have anywhere to park it.
As a collector of all things TV/crap, I am so watching this show!
When is this supposed to air? Fall? It definetely sounds up my alley☺
