THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, AS THE WORLD TURNS Win Big at the 2010 Daytime Emmys

The 2010 Daytime Emmy Awards hit Las Vegas Sunday night (June 27) and CBS came up the big winner.
THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL was honored with Outstanding Drama Series — the top prize of the night — as well as the award for Outstanding Writing Team and Outstanding Younger Actor. The recently canceled AS THE WORLD TURNS nabbed three of the six top acting nods — including Lead Actor and Actress — while THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS star Billy Miller won Outstanding Supporting Actor for his role on the series.

The Michael Park and Maura West wins were so wonderful…so long overdue and so well deserved!
The show itself was appauling…a huge joke that focused more on Vegas than Daytime! The As The World Turns “tribute” lasted 30 seconds or less but we got 5 minutes or more of The Lion King and Cirque de Soleil! How did that honour the nominees at all!?
Yeah, I had some issues, too. That’ll be a post for after I eat breakfast 😉
