LOUIS: Comedian Louis CK Gets Lucky with FX

Living in L.A. has its perks, as I’ve recently had the pleasure of sitting — free of charge — through three of Louis CK’s stand up appearances and laughing like a lunatic each time.
The dude, as any comedy fan knows, is — without question — talented, unique and funny.
So it kind of sucked when his first foray into scripted television, HBO’s LUCKY LOUIE, didn’t translate.
Well, in truth, I only watched the first episode, so it very well could’ve gotten better after that, I don’t know. Doesn’t matter though, because it was canceled.
Thankfully, FX isn’t afraid to give second chances where second chances are due and I’m more than pleased to report that Louis CK’s second attempt at TV funny seems to have promise.
Plus, Gervais is in it.

This guy sucks!!! He used to be funny in his HBO show. He should of kept doing the HBO show–this on FX SUCKS!!!!!! NOT FUNNY!!! Talking about cancer and children and being sick. I love raunchy comedy and sick and twisted and stupid comedy- but this is just is not funny!! IT made me SICK!!!
