Remember the “Fear” number that Kathryn and Legacy performed during SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE season 6? It was definitely a stand out and it seems the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences thinks so too, nominating choreographer Stacey Tookey for an Emmy on Thursday (7/8) morning.

GMMR met up with Tookey just hours after she learned of the honor.

She talks to us about how she found out, who she called first and why she just can’t believe it’s all happening.

    I’d like to see Adam Shankman’s routine again before picking a favorite and also congrats to Derek Hough who earned two nominations for DWTS! I hope they can get him on SYTYCD to choreograph a ballroom routine sometime. He and Cheryl Burke create the best routines on DWTS.

    My fave routine was Addiction; it’s the one I’ve re-watched the most times out of the nominations.
