Doctor Who | 9pm on BBC America

Rory maintains a vigil for Amy while the Doctor is trapped in the Pandorica, and the key to restoring the universe may lie with a little girl who still believes in stars in the 5th-season finale.

BONES Creator Hart Hanson on Season Six’s Big Bad and Booth’s [Spoiler Alert]

It seems like a few of you were kind of excited about the BONES panel at Comic-Con.

Can’t say I blame you. After that finale, I had a million questions myself.

And when I chatted with BONES creator Hart Hanson before Friday’s panel, he answered…some of them.

Kind of.

Hanson spoke with reporters a few months back and he mentioned that viewers would be introduced to someone at the end of season 5 who would be causing some trouble for the team next season. But seemingly, no one appeared. Not in an obvious way, anyway — and now there’s word that there will be a new big bad in year 6.

Silly me, I thought it would be appropriate to ask if maybe we had only heard about the baddie in season 5, but we’d actually meet them in season 6… Seemed like a reasonable question.

Perhaps the Greatest Video EVER! WHITE COLLAR’s Matthew Bomer & Tim DeKay Dancing at Comic Con

July 23, 2010 by

I’m selfish. I could have posted this video 15 minutes ago when I first stumbled upon it, but I had to watch it a few times just so I could take it all in.

WHITE COLLAR stars Tim DeKay and Matthew Bomer (or is that Joe Jonas) got their groove on while dancing to Ke$ha’s ‘Tik Tok’ on Wii’s new Just Dance 2 game. Such commitment they bring to their dancing. This is hilarious!

Ok, I’m off to watch this again.

Comic Con ’10: TRUE BLOOD Live Chat

I wanna do bad things to you…

Mixing romance, suspense, mystery, and humor, True Blood kicked off its 12-episode third season June 13 on HBO. The show, which has earned two Golden Globe nominations for Best Television Series-Drama and an Emmy nod for Outstanding Drama Series as well, follows the romance between waitress Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin, Golden Globe winner for True Blood season one; Oscar-winner for The Piano), who can hear people’s thoughts, and her soulmate, 173-year-old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). Alan Ball (creator of the Emmy-winning HBO series Six Feet Under) created and serves as executive producer of the series, which is based on the best-selling Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris. The series also features Nelsan Ellis as Lafayette Reynolds, Sam Trammell as Sam Merlotte, Rutina Wesley as Tara Thornton, Deborah Ann Woll as Jessica Hamby, Kristin Bauer van Straten as Pam, Denis O’Hare as Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi, and Joe Manganiello as Alcide Herveaux. (Note: names in bold will be appearing on the panel.) Moderated by Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly.

TOP CHEF D.C.: Cold War

Comments Off on TOP CHEF D.C.: Cold War

My appetite has not matured since my childhood. Despite my preference for chicken fingers over chilean sea bass, however, I do appreciate the construction of entrees that foodies enjoy. TOP CHEF has been a DVR favorite of mine for the past two years, but my appetite for the show is waning. Padma & Tom are bringing their best efforts to Season Seven, but the contestants are as unappetizing as the proteins used in this week’s Quickfire Challenge.

After Season Six introduced America to distinctive characters like Kevin, Jen, and the Voltaggio brothers, my disappointment with this cast may simply be one of comparison. I want to root for someone to win each week, but I also appreciate a good antagonist, provided that person is respectful of their rivals. That is why I am souring on this season.

Comic Con Thursday Round Up: DEXTER, WHITE COLLAR, BURN NOTICE, PSYCH & Showtime

Comments Off on Comic Con Thursday Round Up: DEXTER, WHITE COLLAR, BURN NOTICE, PSYCH & Showtime

Wish you were at Comic Con? Well I do too. Good thing for all of us that Marisa is there, reporting live from most of our favorite TV panels.

Yesterday she LIVE chatted from the panels for the USA shows – Burn Notice, White Collar, and Psych. Then it was time to talk a little Showtime with a lineup featuring cast and creative leads from Dexter, Weeds, Californication and Nurse Jackie.

Her last panel of the day took us into the sick and twisted mind of Dexter.

The transcripts of her LIVE chats can be replayed, so even if you missed ’em, you can still get all the scoop.

Marisa will be back LIVE chatting today from some really cool panels including the highly anticipated Bones one (she’ll be in the press room too) as well as the uber-popular Joss Whedon Experience.  Korbi is also headed down to San Diego as we speak to get a little Big Bang Theory* and True Blood action. Stay tuned to GIVE ME MY REMOTE for links to those live chats very soon!

*there will be no live chat for Big Bang Theory, unfortunately, but check back for interviews with the cast

CSI Signs Justin Bieber, Teen Dreamboat

BIEBER!

The Biebs is going all serious actor on us, yo.

The Baby, Baby boy has signed on to appear in the season premiere of CBS’ CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION this fall, playing Jason McCann, a troubled teen who is faced with a terrible decision regarding his only brother. According to a network press release, it’s a decision that leads him into a confrontation with the CSIs. It is the beginning of an explosive story that will conclude later in the season.

Thoughts on this?

Is the CSI audience getting all geeked up?

Will their teenage grandkids now flock to the show for the first time?

Or maybe the Biebs has fans that are older than we think.

I mean, the CSI executive producers are apparently into him…

Carol Mendelsohn, Don McGill and Anthony Zuiker’s quote from that press release: “Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world. We’d like to believe that the phenomenon of CSI has had the same impact on popular culture. The opportunity to bring them together in the premiere is a great treat for our audience and all of its new viewers. This will be true event television.”

Aww, Biebs, we ain’t mad at you.

Can’t wait to see if the kid can pull it off…
