LIFE UNEXPECTED Exclusive: BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Actress to Join Series

Is Baze’s bar going under?

Is he looking to make a little extra cash for Lux’s college fund?

Not sure, but what I can confirm is that ex BUFFY actress, Emma Caulfield — whom BEVERLY HILLS, 90210 fans will also remember as Susan — has joined LIFE UNEXPECTED and will be playing Baze’s boss at his dad’s investment firm.

Sources tell me exclusively the Caulfield’s character will be a whip smart career woman who isn’t a big fan of the nepotism that brings Baze into her office. However, she will quickly warm to him.

Mhmmm…

Who Went Home on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?

July 22, 2010 by
Filed under So You Think You Can Dance, SYTYCD

For the past two weeks the dancer who has left competition has left due to injury. Will that be the case again this week with Billy Bell? I guess we’ll soon see.

Tonight’s opening group routine, performed by the S7 contestants and the All Stars, was a fabulous number by Kelly Abbey – a new choreographer to the show. I like her stuff. She can stick around.

After a nice tribute to dance legend Denise Jefferson, who recently passed away, it was time to get on to the results. All five dancers took to the stage to learn their fate.

Find out who was safe and who joined Billy in the bottom two, after the break.

BURN NOTICE: Tim Matheson on the Comic-Con Panel

July 22, 2010 by

Comments Off on BURN NOTICE: Tim Matheson on the Comic-Con Panel

Last year, BURN NOTICE star Bruce Campbell stole the show (and arguably the ’09 Con) by being so outrageous during his panel that he literally went as far as handing out cash to whoever complimented him.

Let me tell you, it was freaking hilarious to witness– I laughed so hard I cried.

So when I had the chance to speak with Tim Matheson (Larry) and found out he hadn’t heard about Campbell’s antics, I figured I needed to warn him about what he was in for when he moderates the BURN NOTICE panel Thursday at Comic-Con.

“Oh no, that’s just too good,” Matheson said after I filled him in. “You know what? I don’t think I can compete with Bruce. First off, he’s a cult favorite. He’s so great…He’s a joy to work with. He’s the biggest ham and the most fun, and totally gets the business and understands it and understands his job as a performer, and I think if he wasn’t an actor, he’d probably be a wrestler.”

When I suggested Matheson bring along some cash of his own in case someone compliments him, he seemed to dig the idea.

“Absolutely,” he agreed. “I’ll check and raise him. Thanks for the tip. That’s great.”

So, will you be at the BURN NOTICE Comic-Con panel? Are you going to compliment Matheson or Campbell to see if it pays off? If you are, you can be sure we’ll be talking about it in our BURN NOTICE chat!

WAREHOUSE 13: Beyond Our Control

July 22, 2010 by
Filed under #1 featured, Warehouse 13

Eddie McClintock once mentioned that WAREHOUSE 13 is a show that is right for right now. I agree with him. People want to laugh and escape a bit, and I think season two of Warehouse 13 has been perfectly eccentric and fun.

In a world where even the local news meshes tragedies with pop culture scandals, it’s great to be able to tune our Farnsworths one hour a week and enjoy the company of Pete, Myka, Artie, Claudia, Leena and Mrs. F.

This episode, “Beyond Our Control”, was another great blend of intrigue (How the heck did that same guy from different time periods keep showing up in town?), character development (potential romantic interest for Claudia, anyone?), and fun (“Are you hit?!” “No, but I think my underwear are shot…”).

WHITE COLLAR: Need to Know

July 22, 2010 by

Note: Poor Mary! Not even a storm that knocked out her electricity to hold her back from sharing her thoughts on this week’s WHITE COLLAR. Thanks, M!

Well, well. This episode was full of plot and character development, wasn’t it? I think I’m going to split these recaps into two parts: Case of the Week and Music Box Mystery. Let’s get to it, shall we?

Case of the Week

Neal goes undercover as a political consultant to help Peter figure out if a senator on the campaign trail is dirty. Of course, he is. As Neal put it: “Politicians were the original con men.

The whole team was involved in this case, with Peter making the senator nervous with his “bad cop” routine, Mozzie going on a scavenger hunt to find $10,000, and Diana pretending to like men as a prostitute.

We got plenty of time with my new favorite White Collar couple, Peter and Mozzie, as well as an interesting new friendship between Neal and Diana. I like how we’re seeing the characters play off each other in these new couplings. Even the conversations between Peter and Diana were nice.

Pretty soon, they’ll all be one big, happy family. Or not…

Neal: Is this doing anything for you?

Diana: Not a damn thing.

Neal: SIGH.

Another SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Injury…Nope, Not Kidding

This is out of control!  What the hell is going on over at SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE?

Popular site, SYTYCDism.com is reporting that sitting on the bench this week is none other than Billy Bell.  It seems Billy has suffered a knee injury! Are you kidding me?

Since Billy won’t be performing tonight, he’ll automatically be in the bottom three tomorrow night.  As he’s been in the bottom three the past few weeks, I don’t how he’s going to get past the judges vote tomorrow night.

Anyone else convinced that Jose is behind all the injuries?  Seriously, it’s impossible to get this kid of out the competition.

Kent…please be careful!!
