Happy August, Drop Dead Diva fans! I don’t know about you, but I was glad to see a return to a more light-hearted episode for Jane. The past few episodes showed her as feeling like a third wheel or entangled in her family’s issues, so it was great to see her more confident, even if she was dealing with Ellie Tannen, the ‘Queen of Mean’, (played by guest star Cybill Shepherd). Jane uses Deb’s innate fashion sense to score Tannen as a client, to Parker’s pleasure. But Tannen has a nearly impossible request: to stop a tell-all inflammatory biography of her from being published. Jane, using Stacy’s advice, tells her “It won’t be a problem.”
Jane also takes Stacy’s personal advice and invites Hank the bailiff to a dinner party they are throwing, in the hopes that Jane will begin dating again. Since Original Jane and Hank got along so well, Stacy is convinced that Hank is a great place for New Jane to start.

Ruben asks Ricky to reestablish a friendship with Adrian, a move that displeases Ashley, who still has feelings for Ricky. Meanwhile, Ben directs his anger toward Ricky; and Jack intrudes on Grace’s double date.
I don’t know about you, but this isn’t the worst way to spend 45 minutes of my life. A little Jared and Jensen…yes, please.
One of GIVE ME MY REMOTE’s thoughtful readers, Lily, was kind enough to share her video of the SUPERNATURAL Comic Con panel with us and in turn we are sharing it with you. So if you weren’t able to make it to Comic Con, we’re able to bring it to you.
Big thanks to Lily. Now, it’s time to talk SUPERNATURAL Season 6. Thoughts on the panel. Next season?
After successfully completing a 12-step program, I will not be watching the BIG BROTHER live feeds this season. I promised my sponsor I would stay away. But a girl needs a few indulgences, so thank goodness for Showtime’s BIG BROTHER AFTER DARK. BBAD is a live, unedited feed every week night from 12am-3am EST. Just a little more BIG BROTHER in case the three nights a week on CBS isn’t enough.
Because ‘After Dark’ is real time, it’s a great way to get some spoilers. Although I won’t be posting full recaps of BBAD, I don’t mind sharing some of the more pertinent intel I’m able to gather. Usually it’s HOH, who is on the block, who is playing in the POV and who is targeted for eviction.
So if you want a few BIG BROTHER spoilers and want to know how YOU can contribute, continue reading….
