The best way to say goodbye to a few of our favorite shows? A musical number, of course. Jimmy Fallon bids a fond farewell to three shows we lost this year by channeling the musical stylings of Elton John, Boyz II Men and Green Day.

Eric Stonestreet Wins Best Support Actor in a Comedy for MODERN FAMILY (Video)

When the first award of the night was handed out, I just knew it was going to be a great show. Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron on MODERN FAMILY, took home the Emmy for Best Support Actor in a Comedy Series.
For me, this was by far the toughest category. Stonestreet was was up against his fellow MODERN FAMILY co-stars, Ty Burell & Jesse Tyler Ferguson, as well as Neil Patrick Harris from HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and Chris Colfer from GLEE. (Oh and Jon Cryer from TWO AND A HALF MEN…but come on.)
Stonestreet’s on-screen hubby wasn’t the only one tearing up when Eric won.
A tough category, but I’m really excited for Eric! (There’s always next year my little Chris Colfer.)

Sure, the COMMUNITY gang wasn’t actually nominated for any Emmys this year, but that wasn’t going to stop them from coming to the show.
In the following clips, the cast takes a road trip to the big event, bringing some snacks and playing the sure-to-be-huge car game “seatfiller.”

A big night for geeks and nerds!
Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper on TV’s most watched sitcom, THE BIG BANG THEORY, was named Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series during this year’s Emmy awards.
Nope, no BAZINGA! there…he really did win!
Although it was a tough category, we here at GIVE ME MY REMOTE couldn’t have been more thrilled to see Jim up on that stage. A well deserved acknowledgment for one of our favorite characters on TV.
As for his BIG BANG co-stars, we are sure they are just as thrilled as Kunal Nayyar (@kunalnayyar) who tweeted, “Yay Jim yay, yay yay yay, Jim yay. Congrats on your Emmy. I love you brother.”
Congrats, Jim!

Comments Off on FRINGE’s John Noble on His ‘Disappointing’ Emmy Snub and Season 3
Despite our passionate pleas, one name that won’t be called out during tonight’s Emmy broadcast is that of FRINGE star, John Noble.
Yeah, I’m still bitter about that.
And while Noble himself isn’t bitter, he told me he was disappointed that he wasn’t among the nominees.
Sigh. Bad Emmy voters.
Thankfully, it seems like Noble will have a ton of Emmy-worthy scenes in the upcoming third season of FRINGE, so here’s hoping they don’t ignore him next year.
But what did he spill about the new season?
Check it out…
