HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Season Premiere: Big Days

So, the season 6 premiere of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER has come and gone. Can we review what we’ve learned?
– Rachel Bilson’s character, Cindy, likes the ladies.
– Guys really dig sundresses.
– If you call “dibs” on a chick, you’re her rightful owner and she’s legally bound to you.
– Marshall’s dad — Dauber from COACH! — has some issues… he cares too much.
– Lily and Marshall may struggle to get pregnant.
– Robin is really broken up over her split with Don… though there’s clearly still chemistry between her and Barney. Did you see his face when she sat down next to him in the white dress? Hmm?
– And, finally, Ted will be the best man at a wedding where he’ll finally meet his future wife… though whose wedding it is, we don’t know.
Anyone else thinking that my second to last bullet point was our biggest hint?

Barney & Robin were my first choice, but upon thinking about it…how does the roommate end up at that wedding? Then I thought maybe it was Cindy & her lady as it was told that they end up together, but then I can safely say Church ain’t the place they’d be getting married. Do we think that the sign outside “For every season, turn, turn” had anything to do with it?
Well I think it was a solid opener, they really did push the Robin and Barney attraction, little hints from both, so are they gonna lead us down the garden path with those two as a result?
Thought the wedding thing was still too ambiguous to be honest….
Thought Ted was really sweet to her, Cobie Knocked it outta the park for full on comedy chops, especially can we have sex now???? LMAO But still Poor Robin!
Can Marshall get any cuter?? Except maybe for the music to have sex with, er.. no and I love Lily so much, shes gonna make a great mum!
Barney had some cracking lines doesnt NPH just have THE best delivery??
I loved the twist with Rachel/Cindy, but she still has those Summer Rage issues right?? LOL…
I thought the same thing that it was probably Barney and Robin, but then that seems too obvious….hmmmm
I thought it was Barney’s wedding as well, because Marshall was clearly in the wedding too. But with way too much analyzing, I couldn’t decide if it was Barney’s wedding to Robin because I just don’t believe that the pink dress Lily was wearing is her bridesmaid dress, Robin would never choose that dress!! Annnnd, it’s hard to believe that Barney would beat Ted down the aisle (however, that would make for some great storylines).
It was a great way to start back the season, I for one am excited to get more information about the Mother and slowly get closer to her reveal!

I think that the season opener (with Dauber!!!) has laid some nice ground work for a season where the show is getting back to its roots with all of its characters!
I’m torn between thinking it’s a RoBarn wedding and a Cindy wedding…hmmm…
Bring on more funny & cute Marshall & Lily, sassy & sexy Barney & Robin and romantic Ted!!
I thought this was a bit of a relief after the last couple of seasons. I really fell in love with this show in the first two seasons. And it started to drift a bit. And the writers made some big mistakes with timing and story lines. So I’m glad to see that things are going to get back on track. I don’t need the exact same show. But I would like the core to remain true.
As for Cindy…I knew the big twist the moment I saw her with the blond. So it wasn’t that shocking. But it was fun. I doubt it’s Cindy’s wedding at the end though. I don’t know why Marshall and Lily would be in the wedding party if that were the case. And why the heck would Ted be best man??? It has to be Barney’s wedding. And we can only hope that it’s Robin.
Looking forward to this season. And the return of Robin Sparkles.
