Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Good morning my friends! Happy Wednesday to you. A lot of great TV tonight, although I’m not sure any show on this evening could be as amazing as watching these Chilean miners being rescued. Riveting stuff! I can’t tear myself away!

Here’s to hoping all the men are safely rescued by the time SURVIVOR starts tonight. (Makes that little island show seem a bit trite now, doesn’t it?)

The Middle | 8pm on ABC
“The Quarry
Axl is suspended for truancy, and Mike makes him work in the quarry during the suspension to teach him a lesson. But the plan backfires when Axl likes the job and wants to quit school to work at the quarry full time.

Survivor: Nicaragua | 8pm on CBS
“Turf Wars”
The newly formed tribes struggle to find their footing; a castaway reaches an emotional low; relentless storms batter the coast.

Undercovers | 8pm on NBC
“Jailbreak”
When an important CIA hard drive goes missing, Steven and Samantha must go to Ireland to search for a prisoner who holds the key to its location; Lizzy invests time and money in the catering business. [GMMR: Is anyone watching this show? I haven’t bee hearing anything about it.]

America’s Next Top Model | 8pm on The CW
“Patrick Demarchelier”
The models head to Rodeo Drive for a photo shoot with fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier; fashion stylist Lori Goldstein hand-picks outfits for the contestants. [GMMR: Can’t hear this guy’s name and not think of ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ – “Get me Demarchelier!….”I’ve got Patrick.”]

Hell’s Kitchen | 8pm on Fox
“Classic on a Budget”
Working together, contestants must create a cohesive dish using five randomly selected ingredients; teams must create elegant dishes from classic ingredients while shopping on a budget.

Better With You | 8:30pm on ABC
“Better With Fighting”
Casey implements a plan to avoid fights with Mia; Maddie inadvertently exposes a fault in her relationship with Ben. [GMMR: Much like UNDERCOVERS, I haven’t heard about peep from anyone about this show since its premiere.]

Modern Family | 9pm on ABC
“Strangers on a Treadmill”
Claire and Mitchell try to spare their significant others from embarrassment; Haley tries to teach Alex how to be cool.

Law & Order: SVU | 9pm on NBC
“Wet”
A woman with a seemingly squeaky-clean image is found dead in a fountain; further investigation reveals a surprising motive and multiple suspects.

Hellcats | 9pm on The CW
“Ragged Old Cat”
The Hellcats and the girls volleyball team compete in a game of flag football; Marti skips the game to attend a conference with Julian; Savannah and Alice find themselves at odds once again.

The team searches for a serial killer who is preying on married couples; Hotchner looks to a team member to fill JJ’s vacant role.

“Edible Fashion”
