VAMPIRE DIARIES is back tonight with a fresh episode, along with most of the other Thursday favorites, my friends.
I know, even with BONES and FRINGE airing reruns this week, I’m stressed about how much good stuff there is to watch.

“The Desperation Emanation”
Leonard realizes he’s the only one without a girlfriend, while Sheldon wants to get rid of his. [GMMR: Peep the promo for tonight’s ep, in which Amy (Mayim Bialik) asks Shel-bot to meet her mommy.]
Community | 8pm on NBC
“Messianic Myths and Ancient Peoples”
Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) gets inspired to create a religious film and asks Abed (Danny Pudi) for his creative input only to discover that he wants to make one of his own. Meanwhile, Pierce (Chevy Chase) comes to terms with being the oldest member of the group and is recruited by another set of students his own age.
The Vampire Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“Plan B”
Despite Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) efforts to keep Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) safe, he offers to help Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) deal with Katherine (Nina Dobrev). Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) and Caroline (Candice Accola) share a few rare moments of quality mother/daughter time. Bonnie (Katerina Graham) accidentally discovers new information about Mason (guest star Taylor Kinney) and shares it with Stefan (Paul Wesley), leading Damon to take matters into his own hands. “Not Without My Jacket”
Ed tries to teach Henry a lesson about borrowing his clothes, however, his plan backfires when he inadvertently lends Henry’s jacket to a friend. Meanwhile, Vince regrets asking Bonnie to tell him all the juicy details about a previous relationship.
30 Rock | 8:30pm on NBC
“Reaganing”
Jack (Alec Baldwin) is having a perfect day and succeeding at every task. He tries to channel his winning streak into helping Liz (Tina Fey) figure out her relationship with Carol. Meanwhile, Jenna (Jane Krakowski) and Kenneth (Jack McBrayer) enlist the help of Kelsey Grammer (guest starring as himself). Elsewhere, Tracy (Tracy Morgan) is trying to shoot a commercial for the Boys and Girls Club. [Frasier!]

“The Sting”
When a competing sales associate (guest star Timothy Olyphant) steals a Dunder Mifflin client, Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell), Jim (John Krasinski) and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) decide to set up a sting to find out his sales secrets. Andy (Ed Helms) decides to start a band after finding out a friend from college has a successful music career. [GMMR: Timothy Olyphant was really all you had to say, yo.]

“Almost Grown”
As part of their training, the Chief puts Seattle Grace’s residents — including Meredith, Cristina, April and Jackson — in charge; meanwhile, Derek, Callie, Owen and the other attending surgeons compete for a million-dollar grant.
CSI | 9pm on CBS
“House of Hoarders”
A woman who suffers from a condition called “hoarding” becomes a murder suspect when a dead body is found buried under piles of trash and debris inside her home. [GMMR: I might have a dead body in my place. It’s possible. Just saying.]
Nikita | 9pm on The CW
“Resistance”
A bus filled with Division recruits is attacked by terrorists who kidnap Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Thom (Ashton Holmes), both of whom are unaware that this is a test by Division. Percy (Xander Berkeley), Michael (Shane West) and Amanda (Melinda Clarke) watch as Alex is tortured. Alex breaks free and contacts Nikita (Maggie Q) for help. Meanwhile, Nikita has earned Owen’s (guest star Devon Sawa, “Final Destination”) trust and he reveals some devastating news to Nikita about her fiance.

Just before Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Tim Gunn checks what the Final Four Designers are preparing for the runway.

“Touched by an Anglo”
A box of sexual novelty items arrives at the call center and Todd notices some people in the group feel uncomfortable with the products. He calls his boss and learns that he was supposed to give a sexual harassment seminar to his group upon his arrival. He later learns that someone has already filed a complaint and tries to make things right (unsuccessfully).

“In or Out”
Addison butts heads with a new oncologist (Cristian de la Fuente) while treating a newborn with a malignant tumor; Pete is uncomfortable when Violet tries to help a parolee.
The Mentalist | 10pm on CBS
“The Red Ponies”
The CBI team is pulled deep inside the world of horse racing when they are called upon to look into the murder of a well-known jockey.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia | 10pm on FX
“Mac’s Mom Burns Her House Down”
After burning down her house, the guys think Mac’s mom should move in with Charlie’s mom. Meanwhile, Frank decides to take care of a sick Dee.
