BONES Adds THE MUMMY Star as New Big Bad

BONES has got its new big bad.
Fox confirms to Give Me My Remote that THE MUMMY star Arnold Vosloo has been tapped to play Jacob Ripkin Broadsky. He will first appear on the show in early 2011.
JRB will be a thorn in Booth and Brennan’s side, especially after he takes out someone they know. According to EW — where this casting news was first reported — Vosloo is slated to be in at least three episodes.
When I grilled BONES creator Hart Hanson at Comic-Con this year, his squirming seemed to indicate that our introduction to the upcoming big bad may have already happened off-screen. However, it has been a couple months since I put him on the spot, so I wonder if things have changed…?

Yes. I think he can be a very good, believable, scary sniper.
This is good casting, imo. He has this bad vibe look on him and that is definitely needed for one who is a skilled marksman taking out a well known character.

Great. We can watch Booth’s reporter girlfriend following the sniper story. Frankly, until she’s off the show I find it difficult to muster any enthusiasm. Her presence just throws everything off.
I think he’ll make a great sniper. He definitely has a dark and sinister look about him.
This storyline makes me interested, but not enough to watch if Hannah is still around. Totally agree joybrennan, the whole show feels ‘off’ with her around. I’m not putting myself through any more of her episodes.
hannah,booth girlfrienf fell flat/hope the writers do better the dinner scene was offensive/but I stillthink they are a gotcha
meant to said diner scene/hope they are a savings grace to this storyline.
the saving grace to the hannah storyline is that hannah is a respectable journalists/but bones found what she said offensive and becaused she his friend she didnt said anything/marisa is booth and hannah a gotcha for bones?
they keep saying hannah is booth lover/but I was hoping she was a sick joke/there is no hope for booth if she stay on much longer.

Please please make Hanna leave the show – she is annoying and she definitely does not belong there. Kill Hanna off – give Booth time to grieve – have Booth and Brennan finally develop a realationship. Hanna needs to go and stay gone!
Frankly, I don’t care what happens to Hannah ,just so she’s not in Booth’s bed any more. Let her go away some where, let them just break up and stay friends like Booth when broke up with Cam. if someone get shot and there’s no other way, let her be one of them. Really my heart isn’t in the last way.
Well, here we are back from the long hiatus. I hope maybe nature will start taking its course.Just let B&B keep going off on cases together & maybe Booth will kiss Brennan ( (or the other way around) !! I hope this is what happens any way!! Keep your fingers crossed!!
