Bones — it has it all, strong female character, hot male character, science, mystery, romance….. and angst, angst, angst which I am not enjoying at all but am not giving up at this point.

  10. idkwtm on November 2nd, 2010 1:54 pm

Bones, of course. Why? Special Agent Seeley Joseph Booth. Need I say more?

It was a tough decision for me, but I actually voted for SYTYCD. While there are many Fox shows on my list of faves, SYTYCD has been a staple for me for the pat few years. I’ve learned so much about dance not only technically but the power of expressing yourself through this art form. I love seeing the kids grow exponentially throughout the season. SYTYCD is not only my favorite reality show, but it’s one of my favorite shows on TV, period!

  12. notlupus on November 2nd, 2010 2:11 pm

I chose HOUSE from this list. (it would have been wrong to vote BONES just for Emily Deschanel and the whole cast, it should be more about the characters than the actors. Both shows have strong lead actor/actress, though. Can’t vote for a show I haven’t watched, so it was an easy decision after all).
Wilson and House are a great team, love their friendship.

  13. Priscila on November 2nd, 2010 2:29 pm

    BONES.. duh!!

  14. Kimber on November 2nd, 2010 2:37 pm

So hard! It’s a tie between GLEE and FRINGE, but my favourite new Fox show is totally RAISING HOPE. It’s so good!!

  15. Cammy on November 2nd, 2010 3:01 pm

    BONES all the way!!

  16. Eliane da Silva on November 2nd, 2010 4:01 pm

EU AMO ESTE SHOW.

  17. Poetic_line on November 2nd, 2010 4:12 pm

Bones of course. How do I love it. Let me count the ways. Thou art more sexy with Booth and Brennan in car banter. No one is more beautiful than Booth and Brennan.

  18. Sara on November 2nd, 2010 4:23 pm

Raising Hope! It’s just so enjoyable and that baby is adorable. It’s incredibly smart and witty and provides great one-liners.

  19. Mattie B on November 2nd, 2010 4:25 pm

SYTYCD, just cause I’ve watched it since season 3. While I’m not always up-to-date, it’s never as hot-cold as I am with Glee.

  20. chris on November 2nd, 2010 5:19 pm

BONES com toda ceteza é a minha serie favorita de todas

  21. daniela on November 2nd, 2010 5:26 pm

    FRINGE WITHOUT ANY DOUBT

  23. ForensicMama on November 2nd, 2010 5:39 pm

Do I really have to choose between Bones & Fringe?

  24. Sarah on November 2nd, 2010 5:40 pm

FRINGE. It’s beyond a doubt the best show on FOX right now. It’s still blowing my mind with it’s perfection.

  25. Ruth on November 2nd, 2010 5:42 pm

    FRINGE!!!!!

  26. dlyte on November 2nd, 2010 5:43 pm

    of course fringe!!!

  27. Jackie on November 2nd, 2010 5:44 pm

FRINGE for SURE!! But I also can’t miss out on House (can’t wait to see the new character on it), and I do really enjoy Glee too. All must sees!
With SYTYCD, AI and Lie To Me all ones that get recorded and watched eventually (usually) 🙂

  28. Cass on November 2nd, 2010 5:45 pm

So difficult to decide. FRINGE and BONES are pretty equal in my eyes. But since there is more love for the latter thus far, I’ll go with FRINGE. It just keeps getting better. And better. And better. And better. … You get the idea. But THE GOOD GUYS deserves some love, too.

  29. Adrienne on November 2nd, 2010 5:51 pm

Fringe. One of the best shows on tv anywhere right now.

  30. al on November 2nd, 2010 5:52 pm

    BONES IS THE WINNER

  31. olivia on November 2nd, 2010 5:57 pm

FRINGE FOREVER!! It’s smart, funny, heartbreaking, and amazing, with awesome science fiction, creative plots, great actors with great chemistry, and ANNA TORV. What more could you want?!?!

  32. gemlily5 on November 2nd, 2010 6:04 pm

Bones is it! There’s nothing better.

  33. Sally on November 2nd, 2010 6:10 pm

House used to be my most favorite show but due to its downfall I prefer Fringe.

  34. Olivia the Fringe-y on November 2nd, 2010 6:15 pm

    FRINGE
    Why?
Excellent plot, keeps you guessing, SCIENCE FICTION, Anna Torv….
    It’s funny, brilliant, and amazing.
The acting is excellent and there’s not one cast member I hate.

  35. Torgie on November 2nd, 2010 6:19 pm

    House!!!

  36. Mischel on November 2nd, 2010 6:25 pm

    BONES!!!!!!!!!

  37. thegloryofspring on November 2nd, 2010 6:25 pm

Fringe is not only my favourite Fox show, but my favourite television show in general. It surpasses all other shows, especially on Fox, for an abundance of reasons. The writing is absolutely incredible and beautiful. It has a perfect balance of drama, comedy, heartbreak, romance, and mythology. It gives viewers something to laugh about without sacrificing the dignity and continuity of the characters (I’m looking at you, Glee). It gives a realistic and believable view into what a romance would really be like before flipping this idea on its head by introducing the idea of alternate universes. It has the mythology that the science fiction lovers will theorise about for hours but does not sacrifice the growth of characters to move along the plot. It is cinematically beautiful and is far beyond any other television show in that respect. The visual effects are absolutely amazing and everything is done perfectly (just look at the fight scene between the two Olivia’s – no matter how many times you watch, you can never see the stunt double). It is, simply, so far beyond any other television show on Fox. It is the best show that Fox is airing right now – end of story.

  38. Vika on November 2nd, 2010 6:27 pm

    FRINGE
The reason is plain and simple – the show is absolutely brilliant.
All actors are amazing, especially now that they have to play dual roles. Fringe is a smart show, it keeps you guessing, it makes you think of your own wild theories and it’s fun!
It can also make you hyperventilate, it’s mind-blowing!

  39. cortexikidrighthereyo on November 2nd, 2010 6:33 pm

Fringe. Amazing story line, awesome actors (they ALL should at least get nominated for the Emmys this year), IDK, everything about Fringe is just amazing! 😀

  40. Ivy on November 2nd, 2010 6:34 pm

This is so hard between Bones and Fringe! They’re my two favorite shows and I really can’t pick… I’ll go with Fringe since it’s losing.

  41. Amy on November 2nd, 2010 6:35 pm

FRINGE! Fun, smart, sassy, silly, serious, and totally interesting storylines. Lovely to look at too.

  42. Ericka Porras on November 2nd, 2010 6:42 pm

Fringe is the best show in FOX…. Bones was once a great show, but this year its just a shadow of itself.

    ^ TRUE THAT!

    FRINGE!

  44. Bonesfan47 on November 2nd, 2010 6:49 pm

Bones all the way no doubt!!! It’s not only my favorite fox show but one of my all time favorite shows!!! It has everything you can ask for in a TV show!!! The writing acting and directing are all amazing and unfortunately underrated by most people and the science is great too and of course the Chemistry between not only the leads Emily and David but between everyone!!! and of course the fan interaction too you can’t beat their fan interaction especially Hart Hanson who tweets his fans literally everyday and actually still has a twitter account even with all the horrible things some people say/shout at him!!! He has my respect for that cause it’s like some people forget that they are humen and they say some pretty horrible things to him sometimes over just spoilers and way before we even see anything yet. so for all those reasons and many more Bones is def my favorite show!!!!

  45. ssw22 on November 2nd, 2010 6:50 pm

    FRINGE!!!!

  46. Tricia on November 2nd, 2010 6:57 pm

dude, Bones is kickin’ ass. And rightfully so!

  47. Kath (canakatydid) on November 2nd, 2010 6:58 pm

I am going with the very funny and fairly clever, “The Good Guys” as my favourite FOX show.
Bravo to Bones?…of course, but I don’t watch it!
    Fanatical about Fringe?…not me!
    GLEEful?…um, a little less so!
So my vote goes to the moustache and 2010’s answer to Billy Rosewood! The Good Guys!!!

  48. Bruna on November 2nd, 2010 7:06 pm

    Fringe… s2

  49. SouthunLady on November 2nd, 2010 7:11 pm

BONES, definitely!!! Although I really dislike the character of Hannah Burley and the ensuing storyline, Bones is still the best show on TV. The ensemble cast is phenomenal; the casting director was spot on when he cast the actors for the show. And Emily! What can I say…her face is like reading an open book; she is by far the best actor on the show. David B is great, but Emily just shines, especially this season. They need to let her loose more often. If written correctly and thoughtfully, getting Booth and Brennan together could give us many more years of great television. GO BONES!

  50. London on November 2nd, 2010 7:22 pm

Bones without a doubt, it’s some of the best TV I’ve seen, it has everything a good TV show needs, Integrity, compassion,UST, angst, heartbreak, but most of all it has LOVE, between all the characters, you can see it in the interaction, and that’s what makes Bones a show that’s a diamond in the rough, because it’s written and filmed with Love too, Kudo’s to the cast & crew, not only for their amazing show, but also for putting up with the diversity of us Bones Fans.

    Fringe. In any universe.

  55. Alana on November 2nd, 2010 9:43 pm

FRINGE! Hands down! Not only is it the best show on Fox, but it’s the best show on TV right now. No doubt. The cast works so well together and Anna Torv in unbelievable! So is John Noble! They both deserve Emmy’s for their outstanding performances. The show has a bit of everything. Drama, romance, sci-fi, and even a tiny bit of comedy. And, of course, I don’t mind seeing Josh Jackson every week ;D

  56. audree oser on November 2nd, 2010 10:06 pm

BONES will win, as it should.

  61. christine on November 3rd, 2010 4:49 am

i choose fringe, because fringe is a great scientific show and most of the actor and actress are playing in two characters within especially anna torv, she is playing more than two characters at once; i love this show, it is best and ever, always support fringe , always support anna torv, my heroine.

  62. beccy on November 3rd, 2010 7:49 am

I watch only #Bones on FOX so I voted for BONES (:

  64. Peek on November 3rd, 2010 8:36 am

Fringe is the most brilliant show on TV, not only on Fox. The cast is phenomenal and the writing can’t be compared to anything else.

  65. Rosemary Guerrero on November 3rd, 2010 8:36 am

Bones is an awesome show. It totally needs to win. It has everything you want from a show. Thrill, suspense, a little action, romance or trying to get to romance. And of course the majority of cast members are hot. I love love Bones.

  71. mel35 on November 3rd, 2010 9:41 am

    HOUSE OF COURSE!!

  72. Celeste on November 3rd, 2010 9:42 am

Lie to me is a rare adult drama that doesnt fall into trap if becoming a soap. Intelligent writing and story telling based on real science. Tim Roth (an acting God) a huge talent in theatre, film & now TV brings top class talent and cannot be surpassed. Many shows in your list are not top quality drama and not for the average adult. It’s nice to have a grown up & intelligent drama to view. So few shows offer the quality Lie To Me does. It’s not formula based like some other of your shows (entertaining though they might be). It stands out & stands alone for drama, intelligence, brilliant acting and uniqueness in drama. It deserves respect and better promotion (especially since it snared TIM ROTH).

  73. Lara on November 3rd, 2010 9:44 am

    HOUSE.
    Lie To Me comes second.

    LIE TO ME*!

  75. Jana on November 3rd, 2010 10:15 am

Lie To Me is the best show on Fox television today. It is an exciting, intellectually stimulating show that effectively combines aspects of science with action and drama. The cast and crew are top caliber professionals with outstanding acting pedigrees- not to mention lead characters that are wildly attractive and sexy. The scripts are tightly written and current to today’s news and issues. In addition to the exciting episode each week the show incorporates an ongoing interaction tension between the lead characters that provides the continuity from episode to episode. You don’t want to miss an episode- it is must see TV for me each week. No doubt that Lie To Me is the best show on Fox today.

It was a toss-up between House and Fringe, but House won out! Most consistently GOOD show for sure!

  86. Alison on November 3rd, 2010 11:40 am

This was a really hard choice, but I picked Glee. I know it’s all over the place half the time but when it’s good, it’s awesome. Fringe was definitely my second choice, it’s SO good this season! I still watch House, but I’m kinda over it. I’m just not as invested in it this season. I missed the last two weeks because I didn’t have Fox, and I really didn’t miss it. It’s crazy how many votes House got!

LIE TO ME!! It’s brilliant and it’s the most underrated show ever!!!! Lie To Me for the win!!

  98. CDG on November 3rd, 2010 2:18 pm

Lie to Me!! I love both House and Bones too, but they’re not on the chopping block this season. Plus I actually do love Lie to Me more than both of them, lol.

@Diana – it’s math. The votes are given a percentage based on total amount of votes equalling to 100%. So if, say – Bones had 22% of the total votes yesterday (IDK if that was where they were at, this is just an example) and there’s 500 more votes overnight, but they’re for other shows, it actually decreases the overall percentage of Bones vote count. Even House (lolol I doubt it though) has the potential to go down in numbers if there were an influx of people voting for other shows.

  99. Mistleto77 on November 3rd, 2010 2:21 pm

I’m with Bones, all the way. It’s the show that has everything. Great acting. Captivating plots. Beautiful cast and that all important chemistry between the leads. I love it. 🙂

  106. 3rdrocker on November 3rd, 2010 3:53 pm

LIE TO ME!!!! No contest. It’s clever, fresh, intelligent, humorous, brilliantly written and acted…oh and it’s SEXY!! Unfortunately, it gets hammered in the ratings by the mindless DWTS and the cesspool of Two and a Half Men. Fox needs to promote LTM more and move it to a less competitive night to give it the chance it deserves!

  107. Kate on November 3rd, 2010 4:02 pm

Lie to Me is the best show on TV; absolutely brilliant with a unique premise, excellent writing and an awesome (and very sexy!) cast. It needs more promoting and more people to tune in and discover its brilliance. Definitely needs the back nine, then a fourth season – there’s a lot more we need to find out about these characters and just so many places the show can go. Come on Fox, back nine! 🙂

Lie to Me!!! I never was that interested in Body Language. In fact, I wasn’t even sure what it was about, but when I saw the first episode I was HOOKED! And lets not forget how amazing Tim Roth is in this show! I mean, with out this show, I would not have known that the average person lies 3 times every ten minutes in a conversation, or a disturbed mind gets created by constant criticism and lack of affection! I can’t even explain how much this show has changed the way I see things, and I can’t even explain fully how AWESOME this show truly is!!!!

“Lie to Me” FOR THE WIN!

I also like Lie to me and Glee but Bones has everything and it goes from drama to laugh in a second! Plus the chemistry between Emily and David is amazing!

I voted for House because even it’s worst episode is far better than what’s out there right now. The cast has this incredible way of balancing comedy with the drama. Hugh Laurie is compelling to watch, since he gives the viewer a master class in acting each week. This season really has been terrific and more people need to realize that. The House/Cuddy story has been well balanced with the medical aspects of the show. It really has served the last few episodes as a well placed seasoning. The stories have been instense and have brought back the ethical dilemas fans came to love. House was a no brainer choice for me.

  133. Sheila on November 3rd, 2010 9:22 pm

HOUSE is the best show in the world. No competition here

  134. Katherine on November 3rd, 2010 9:23 pm

Bones. No.1 because it has the most compelling storyline. House has been around longer and has had the time to collect more viewers. It is also one of my favourites, however i feel the show is rounding up, where as Bones still has wide open spaces to explore. Both shows make me smile, laugh and cry. And of course I have to add the shallow comment, “Bones has the hotter cast!” 🙂

Lie to Me is brilliant and innovative and doesn’t get near the amount of promotion and advertising that it deserves. You’ve got Tim Roth, for crying out loud, promote it! Promote him! BAFTA winner, Academy Award Nominee! Kelli Williams is amazing and they play perfectly off one another. LTM is a gem, but you’re wasting it by not promoting it like you did the first season. How are fans supposed to commit to a show, when FOX doesn’t even commit to it! Why are you even questioning the back 9? If you commit, the fans will commit! New viewers won’t want to invest in a show that’s in danger of cancellation because you can’t commit. Come on FOX, get on it before it’s too late!!

  146. Jamie on November 4th, 2010 12:43 am

Previously a Bones fan but I have fallen in love with Fringe. What can I say? I thought the actors were brilliant in the first two seasons but the writers really know how to make them shine- this season is off the hook. Watching them act out their doubles every week is awesome. The combo of writers and actors is a match made in heaven. Love this show!

IMHO Bones is EASILY the best show on TV, let alone Fox. Emily Deschanel in particular is a sensational actress, and the way she allows flickers of emotion to show in her beautiful eyes is incredible. Her acting range is amazing; she can make you laugh your head off in one scene and cry your eyes out in the next! She is gorgeous from head to toe! David too has fabulous acting skills as do the rest of the fantastically talented cast. The writers do an AMAZING job with the script and have developed the characters so well over the seasons. They have given each character their own unique identity in a way that you fall in love with all of them! BONES FTW!!!! B&B FOREVER!!!! <3 <3 <3

Lie to Me is the only show I watch on FOX. In fact, I would’ve canceled basic cable ages ago and just stuck to Hulu and Netflix, had it not been for wanting to watch LTM live – I can’t wait for it to come on a day or two later on Hulu. It’s just so good. The acting is top notch. I think it is one of the most underrated, intelligent shows on prime time!

I voted House, before the summer hiaturs and watching the first episodes of this season I would have said Bones many time, but this season I’m borred out of my mind i have not even bored watching yesterdays episode yet. However I love this season of house I have enjoyed every episode so far and most of them even made me smile, and kept be really interested durring the whole episode. So HOUSE for me, but perhaps mostly because the thing I mostly think about Bones season 6 is that it sucks.

  166. Ashleigh on November 5th, 2010 10:44 am

Oh gosh. The House fans have invanded and have completely taken over. Probably all the “Huddy (wor)shippers”. Oh well. Bones all the way!!:) Now, will someone please give Emily Deschanel her Emmy now?

The only shows I watch consistently on this list are Glee and Raising Hope. Glee is good but I sometimes feel I only watch it to for the musical numbers. But Raising Hope is a gem. I love the characters. The stories are so bizarre. It’s one of my favorite new comedies. So glad Dan encouraged me to check it out. It has a bit of a rocky start but 3rd episode in it’s perfection! LOVE IT!

Lie To Me is my favorite show on all of television not just FOX. This show has the perfect combination of intelligent story lines drama and sun fun and wit thrown in. There are so very few TV shows where you can actually use your brain! The writers, directors, cast and crew are the best! It is obvious to anyone who watches this show on a regular basis how their hard work pays off with a vastly superior TV product each week. Additionally I have enjoyed the interaction we have with the cast, writers and directors on Twitter. such a group of amazing people should not be getting the totally 2nd class treatment that they are getting from FOX. How would 24 have done if they let you see half of the season and then the other half 6 months later? Hows that for continuity? I use as an example 24’s refusal to split there season due to the writers strike. I hope FOX wises or better yet another network steals Lie To Me away!

  185. TinaLeena on December 12th, 2010 5:11 pm

LIE TO ME* is the best!!!
Definitely my favourite show from Fox, in fact on TV altogether. I love the whole premise of using microexpressions to solve the crimes, but this show is so much more than that. There are completely different storylines each week – not just the same “ooh there’s-been-a-murder” or “ooh, someones-got-a-curious-illness-but-don’t-worry,-we’ll-solve-it-before-he-dies”. Each week is completely different. (I personally especially liked The Canary’s Song and Veronica this season so far). The relationship between the characters is complex and interesting – especially Cal/Foster (will they / won’t they) and Cal/Emily (beautiful father / daughter scenes). The actors are all amazing, and produce brilliant performances every time.
Can’t believe the back 9 of series 3 wasn’t ordered – so hoping that series 4 is going ahead.

Tim Roth, Kelli Williams, Monica Raymund, Brendan Hines, Hayley McFarland….. what elso do I have to say??? Superb actors; sexy, talented and intelligent. The relationships between the characters is brilliant; made possible by an amazing cast.
Interesting, different and intelligent storylines, witty and clever scripts.
So different to anything else on TV, and by far the best.
    Lie To Me rules!

BONES is still my favorite show, but I must say, it is becoming less so with the Hannah storyline. The longer that storyline is on, the less I am inclined to watch the new episodes. I now DVR it and watch when I feel I can. I really dislike Hannah because she has come between Booth and Brennan. Nothing that Hart Hanson and writers do will make me like Hannah or the storyline.

Now that Brennan has told Booth how she feels, it will break my heart to watch. The storyline has even affected my watching the older episodes since I know what is in store for our Booth and Brennan. I only watch the ones that are really my favorites such as Goop, Critic, Santa, Pilot, etc. I cannot rewatch any of Season 6 because of Hannah and the storyline. I will not purchase Season 6 Bones UNLESS the second half of the show gets unbelievably better. I certainly won’t pre-purchase it. Sorry, Bones, I love you, but…
