Tonight’s TV Spotlight…Wednesday, November 24, 2010

Just about 24 hours from now I’m going to be standing in the kitchen at my parents’ house smelling the sweet smells of Thanksgiving. I’m salivating already.

Turkey is for tomorrow, but tonight it’s all about the appetizers. TV dinner if you will.

“Thanksgiving II”
Mike’s bother Rusty (Norm Macdonald) and father Big Mike join the family for Thanksgiving dinner, and Frankie encourages the macho men to share their feelings. Bob brings his librarian girlfriend, much to Brick’s delight and Sue’s plan to start a mother-daughter pie-baking tradition backfires.

“The Wife’s Take”
Chance protects a woman (Molly Parker) whose husband was his target seven years ago; Ames seeks an apprenticeship with Guerrero; Ilsa makes a shocking discovery about her latest business acquisition.

Survivor: Nicaragua | 8pm on CBS
“We Did it Guys”
Highlights from the season and previously unaired footage are presented. New scenes shed light on decisions the castaways have made.

Better With You | 8:30pm on ABC
“Better With Thanksgiving”
Vicky’s oven breaks down just before Thanksgiving, which is actually a blessing for everyone (save Vicky), since now the family won’t have to gobble down one of her outlandish, unpalatable turkey-based fiascoes. When the celebration is moved to Maddie and Ben’s, Mia discovers her late grandmother’s ring that was supposedly stolen, and now Maddie has some serious explaining to do.

“Mother Tucker”
A visit from Cameron’s force-of-nature mother (Celia Weston) makes Mitchell nervous; Phil is distraught over Haley’s breakup with Dylan; Jay’s stomach ailment gets worse after he and Manny log on to a medical Web site.

The Biggest Loser | 9pm on NBC
“Where are they Now?”
Catching up with popular former contestants; Sam Poueu proposes to Stephanie Anderson; Bernie Salazar gets married; past contestants compete in a triathlon.

Cougar Town | 9:30pm on ABC
“When the Time Comes”
Jules tells Grayson she loves him, but when he fails to respond in kind she decides to force the issue with a romantic Thanksgiving dinner. Meanwhile, Bobby’s upset by a failure to communicate with the rest of the gang; and Ellie and Laurie take issue with Andy’s optimism.

Terriers | 10pm on FX
“Quid Pro Quo”
As Hank, Britt, and Laura Ross unravel the Ocean Beach conspiracy, they put themselves and people around them in danger. Meanwhile, Britt receives assistance from an unexpected source, and Katie discovers something new about Britt.
