Some of our favorite Tuesday shows are in reruns. I said some…not all. Plenty of TV goodness for you to check out tonight including some shows to get you in the holiday spirit.
A Charlie Brown Christmas | 8pm on ABC
In the Emmy and Peabody-winning animated cartoon from 1965, the gang mounts a holiday pageant as Charlie Brown bemoans Yuletide commercialism. Also: “Prep & Landing: Operation Secret Santa,” a short featuring the prep-and-landing elves on a covert mission to Santa’s office, with Betty White providing the voice of Mrs. Claus.
Glee | 8pm on Fox
“A Very Glee Christmas”
Finn tries to bring holiday cheer to McKinley High, and Artie discovers that Brittany still believes in Santa. Meanwhile, the teachers pick their Secret Santas and one particularly manipulative McKinley staffer rigs the gift-giving.
The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Marathon”
Loved ones cheer on the final four contestants as they run a marathon; a contestant confronts her unsupportive parents; two out of three finalists are determined.
One Tree Hill | 8pm on The CW
“Darkness on the Edge of Town”
In this last episode before the winter hiatus, a storm strikes Tree Hill, putting everyone’s life in danger. Quinn has to deal with Katie who has come back to finish what she started. Haley has to make a rough decision about her future and Brooke faces a devastating obstacle.
No Ordinary Family | 9pm on ABC
“No Ordinary Sidekick”
George mistakenly receives credit for thwarting a robbery that Jim stopped; conflict arises between Katie and Stephanie; Daphne becomes increasingly suspicious of Katie’s boyfriend.
Raising Hope | 9pm on Fox
“Toy Story”
Jimmy pleads with Burt to save a doll for Hope during his annual scheme of scalping the season’s hottest toy. Meanwhile, Virginia campaigns to get the Chances in their church’s living nativity scene.
Life Unexpected | 9pm on The CW
“Stand Taken”
Lux and Tasha face the aftermath of their recent decisions, which strains their friendship and forces Lux to be honest with Cate and Baze about her history.
Eureka | 9pm on Syfy
“Oh Little Town”
Dr. Noah Drummer (Chris Parnell) tries to steal a dangerous experiment while a holiday party is underway at Global Dynamics, and an unstable hydrogen crystal threatens the safety of the town.
Running Wilde | 9:30pm on Fox
“It’s a Trade-off”
Steve and Emmy want to see whose life is more challenging, so they switch places: Steve looks after Puddle and Emmy tries to impress a magazine editor (Ana Gasteyer).
Warehouse 13 | 10pm on Syfy
“Secret Santa”
Pete and Myka investigate robberies linked to a malevolent Santa Claus while Artie reunites with his father (Judd Hirsch) on Hanukkah. [GMMR: In case you missed it, a little scoop on tonight’s holiday episode of WAREHOUSE 13.]
Glory Daze | 10pm on TBS
“Papa Don’t Pre-game”
Fathers arrive for Dad’s Day, but the boys are uneasy about how their fathers will view their college activities, particularly the annual tailgating bash. Brad Garrett, D.L. Hughley, Geoff Pierson and Reginald VelJohnson guest star.
Detroit 1-8-7 | 10pm on ABC
“Shelter”
Della Reese guest stars as the mother of a long-missing young black man whose remains, along with those of a young white woman, are found in an abandoned fallout shelter. Longford and Mahajan’s investigation is helped by an unlikely source: Longford’s estranged father, a former cop.
