FRINGE Scoop: Is Olivia Coming Home in November? Producers Spill
October 25, 2010 by Marisa Roffman
Is Olivia returning home to “our” universe this November?
The promo that aired after the last new episode of FRINGE said that would be the case and I was shocked by the bombshell. After all, if it’s true, that’s a major spoiler to drop via “next time on FRINGE,” no?
So, when I stalked talked with show producers Jeff Pinkner, J.H. Wyman and Akiva Goldsman at the Meltdown Comics event last night, naturally that was the first question I posed.
Is it true?

It’s Halloween week here at Give Me My Remote, my friends… which means, uh, Halloween is this weekend.
But there will be several fantastic episodes of television to celebrate the occasion and we’ll be highlighting them ahead of time in our Spotlight posts from now through Sunday.
A rundown of what’s airing this evening. Talk to us in the comments and tell us what you’ll be watching, yo…
Chuck | 8pm on NBC
“Chuck Versus the Aisle of Terror”
When Chuck, Sarah, Casey and Morgan attempt to stop Dr. Stanley Wheelright from releasing a nightmare-inducing toxin, they’re also led to question the allegiances of Chuck’s mom. Meanwhile, Jeff and Lester celebrate Halloween at the More, and Dr. Honey Woodcomb visits Ellie and Awesome.
How I Met Your Mother | 8pm on CBS
“Baby Talk”
Marshall and Lily research how to conceive a baby with the gender of their choice. Meanwhile, Robin is growing more and more irritated by her perky new co-anchor, Becky.
90210 | 8pm on The CW
“How Much is That Liam in the Window”
New parents Jen and Ryan find out about Naomi’s rape and Jen decides to take matters into her own hands. Ryan encourages Naomi to come forward even though his own job may be in jeopardy. Victor arranges a photo shoot for Adrianna and instructs her to go topless, while Navid and Silver watch in shock. Annie discovers that Charlie has a dark and disturbing side when she sneaks in to observe a staged reading of his play. Liam lands a job working shirtless in the window and on the sales floor of a clothing store. A mysterious customer offers him an opportunity he can’t refuse. Dixon apologizes to Ivy for breaking up with her but doesn’t realize that Ivy decided to lose her virginity to someone else. Oscar confronts Laurel and Ivy with shocking news about his past.
Dancing with the Stars | 8pm on ABC
“Performances”
The show’s seven remaining couples will rock the ballroom as they dance the Paso Doble and Tango to classic and contemporary rock songs and tear up the dance floor in the show’s first ever rock and roll dance marathon. [GMMR: Rock and Roll, huh? Any guesses on which classic tunes will be butchered tonight?]
Lie to Me | 9pm on Fox
“Double Blind”
While vetting an art museum staff for security leaks prior to a major exhibition, Lightman meets a beautiful woman (guest star Tricia Helfer, “Battlestar Galactica”) who entangles him in a game of cat-and-mouse.
Gossip Girl | 9pm on The CW
“Easy J”
Although Blair made it perfectly clear that Little J was no longer welcome in Manhattan after what happened with Chuck, Jenny is tempted by a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Tim Gunn (“Project Runway”), which could be a game changer for her future. Meanwhile, Serena discovers something about her new boyfriend, Colin (guest star Sam Page), that may put an end to their relationship just as it was getting good.
CASTLE Roundup: Seamus Dever and Jon Huertas Tease ‘3XK’; Nathaniel Marston to Guest Star

CASTLE fans, tonight’s episode is good.
“3XK” introduces us to a serial killer — nicknamed, you guessed it, 3XK — who might be the toughest foe Castle and Beckett have faced to date.
There is only so much I can say without totally spoiling the hour, so I asked CASTLE stars Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever to tease what fans can expect…

Also, when I was on the set last week, I spotted former ONE LIFE TO LIVE star Nathaniel Marston (Al/Michael) and ABC has confirmed that he’ll be playing a character named Grant Vyro in the upcoming episode, “Last Call.”
According to a show rep, Grant is a “Brooklyn tough guy who could just as easily have ended up in the mob, but instead chose to become a dock worker (albeit, by cheating the union).”
Awesome, right?
Make sure to come back to Give Me My Remote after “3XK” airs this evening, because we’ll have much to discuss…

SMALLVILLE: Isis

Clark and Oliver decided to team up with Tess Mercer?! Never thought we would see the day! Sure, when Clark was younger, and naive, he always fell for the Lex’s charm, but again? Without Chloe’s savvy computer skills or Carter Hall, who has gone MIA, the super duo was obviously desperate for help as they tried to free Lois from the control of Isis.
The good to come out of Lois being possessed (once again) was Isis’ lesson for Clark. Isis’ obsession with getting back the love of her life seemed to help Clark find a happy medium with his own issues of the heart. His definition of love and just how far he would go for Lois really came into question. Even though Isis was about to bring on the apocalypse in order to get her one true love, Osiris, back, she did manage to give Clark the courage he needed to tell Lois about his true identity. After gaining perspective, Clark sharing his secret seemed to be no big deal after all this time. Lois took it well.
SUPERNATURAL: Live Free or Twihard

It’s hard to imagine an SPN fan out there that didn’t really, really enjoy last night’s installment. In one of my favorite signature SUPERNATURAL moves, the episode started out hilarious and then progressed to scary, creepy and finally, intensely sad. Dean has finally reached the point where he knows with certainty that something is wrong with his brother, and it’s not something he can ignore any longer.
The cold open was pretty genius in both it’s spot-on recreation of the Twilight phenomenon and it’s send-up of the very same. I’ve never seen the movies, but I did read the books (yes, even that especially dreadful last one with the painful sex and fast-aging hybrid baby). The shoe-gazing hesitancy of the characters, always underlined by the girl holding herself back from her own sexuality and the boy trying not to both ravage her and kill her, was spot-on.

Good news for fans of NIKITA, HELLCATS and ONE TREE HILL: all three shows are getting full seasons!
Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment at The CW, announced today that the network has ordered the back nine episodes for its two freshman series (NIKITA and HELLCATS) and 8th-year series, OTH.
Woohoo!
In less happy news, LIFE UNEXPECTED’s fate is still to be determined. We’re hoping that The CW finds a way to keep the show on their schedule.

Reason #67891231244719672 my job doesn’t suck? I spent yesterday on the CASTLE set.
I got to watch the cast film a scene at the precinct, spent most of the afternoon hanging out in Castle’s loft and had the chance to talk with most of the actors on the show.
I know, I know, you hate me.
GREY’S ANATOMY: ‘Almost Grown’

This is either going to be the easiest GREY’S ANATOMY recap I’ve ever written, or the hardest. Why? Because very little actually happened this week. Seriously, if I wanted to I could sum up the entire episode in just a couple of sentences. But I suppose you want a little more than that, don’t you, fellow GREY’S lovers? I’ll do what I can for you…

BONES Spin-Off in the Works
October 22, 2010 by Marisa Roffman
Well, this is interesting.
As Deadline TV first reported earlier today, Fox has confirmed to Give Me My Remote that BONES is about to be spun off into a new potential series.
BONES will apparently introduce a new character, named Walter Sherman — aka “the Locator” — in an upcoming episode with the intention of having him headline a brand-spankin’ new show. Word is, BONES mastermind Hart Hanson will be responsible for creating the spin-off.
The actor — who has yet to be cast — playing the character of Walter is scheduled to begin shooting on December 6th and first appear on the series sometime in 2011.
The network pulled a similar move a few years back when they introduced the character of Lucas on HOUSE, with the intention of spinning him off into his own private investigation series, but it never came to pass. It is worth noting that the writers did like Lucas enough to keep him recurring the following season.
So what will this new dude on BONES be like?
