The stars of Fox’s fall season all recently gathered for what looks like a fun day of photoshoots.
Stepping in front of the cameras as themselves, and not in character, proved nerve wracking for Fox favorites like GLEE’s Chris Colfer and HUMAN TARGET’s Indira Varma, while Emmy winner Jane Lynch liked getting out of Sue Sylvester’s track suits.
In character or not, there were some pretty faces photographed that day. See for yourself…

LIFE UNEXPECTED: Can We Talk About the New Cast Additions?
September 15, 2010 by Korbi Ghosh
Now that you’ve seen the season 2 premiere of LIFE UNEXPECTED — which added several new cast members to the mix — we should probably discuss…
- Arielle Kebbel is playing the sexy new drink-slinger at Baze’s bar who banged him right off the bat and burned the place down with her cig… and then we found out she’s Ryan’s sis!
- Amy Price-Francis is playing the conservative radio talk show host and book author who stole Cate’s spot on the air, right after dogging everything about being a working, married woman.
- Shaun Sipos is playing the high school teacher who thought Lux was over 18 and totally made out with her before realizing that she’s one of his students… ruh roh. Oh, and he successfully ended her “engagement” to Bug.
Oh, Bug.
Guess he’s gone bye bye for now.
I, personally, will miss seeing the boy in his undies, but perhaps you feel differently?
Thoughts on the additions of Kebbel, Price-Francis and Sipos’ characters?
Speak up below…
And be nice, because you’re probably going to need to save some of your ire for this mystery woman of Ryan’s, Ms. Julia…

ONE TREE HILL: We Still Don’t Know If Quinn and Clay Are Going To Be Okay?!
September 15, 2010 by Korbi Ghosh
So, season 8 of ONE TREE HILL opens with yet another sort of interesting storytelling device: The dream juxtaposed against what’s really going down… the nightmare.
Did Quinn and Clay simply imagine being shot by that psycho last spring?! Omigosh they totally did… NOT.
Is Haley’s pregnancy perfectly healthy? Uh, well, the docs are insisting on “running some tests” because… there are clearly some concerns.
Are Brooke and Julian going to enjoy their engagement in bed, where they should be, letting their successful careers run themselves, shepherded by all the wonderful support they employ? Or will the Clothes Over Bros babe’s happy day be interrupted by the realization that her mother has run her business into the ground?
Um, yeah, the latter.
And Mia’s man Chase is all mixed up with that sad excuse for an actress, Alex.
And Quinn and Clay are still bleeding out on the floor and no one’s found them.
And sweet little Jamie’s looking at porn on the internets!
Ay yay yay, OTH.
An interesting hour to open the season, I’d say.
You cool with it?

First Look: OUTLAW from NBC
September 15, 2010 by Kath Skerry
Filed under #1 featured, NBC, Outlaw
Starring Emmy Award winner Jimmy Smits (“NYPD Blue,” “The West Wing”), “Outlaw” is a new drama from executive producer John Eisendrath (“Alias,” “Felicity,” “Playmakers”). Cyrus Garza (Smits) is a U.S. Supreme Court justice who abruptly quits the high-level position. A playboy and a gambler, Garza had always adhered to a strict interpretation of the law until he realized the system he believed in was flawed. Now that he’s quit the bench and returned to private practice, he’s determined to represent “the little guy” and use his inside knowledge of the justice system to take on today’s biggest legal cases — and he’s making plenty of powerful people unhappy along the way.
Jesse Bradford (“The West Wing”), Carly Pope (“24”), Ellen Woglom (“Californication”) and David Ramsey (“Dexter”) also star. “Outlaw” is a Universal Media Studios production along with Conaco productions. Eisendrath is executive producer along with Terry George (“Hotel Rwanda,” “Reservation Road”), Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross and David Kissinger (“Andy Barker, P.I.”). “Outlaw” is written by Eisendrath and directed by George.

WAREHOUSE 13: Buried
September 15, 2010 by Sarah Curtis
Filed under #1 featured, Posts by Sarah (Seels), Warehouse 13
Whoa! The penultimate episode of Season Two of Warehouse 13 did NOT disappoint, did it? We had intrigue, betrayal, romance, death and a previously below-ground Warehouse 2. The case is unlike anything the team has ever faced, or as Pete said, “So, like always then.”
In the romance department, the episode begins with Pete talking with Kelly about their future. I had forgotten that the team’s ruse in the town was as an IRS warehouse, and it’s clear that Kelly doesn’t exactly buy that ruse as a good reason for them not to move in together. Claudia, Myka, and Helena give him a hard time about it, finally getting him to admit that he loves Kelly.
You all know I’m in favor of Pete and Kelly, but what I really want are more Pete and Mrs. Frederic scenes. They make me laugh every single time and this week was no exception.

There’s money to be had tonight. Not by watching…sorry. But if you can cook really well or manage to live all summer in a house that broadcasts your every move, then you’ve got a shot at walking away a little richer. Just as the daddy of all reality shows – SURVIVOR – kicks off a new season tonight, many of our favorite summer reality shows are awarding the big prizes and shutting it down.
Don’t worry. If you’re not a fan of reality TV, there is plenty for you to watch tonight. Here are a few highlights and suggestions…

One of the final three houseguests — Enzo, Hayden, Lane — will be crowned the Big Brother champion tonight and awarded the $500,000 grand prize. But first Hayden and Lane will square off to determine which one will become the season’s final Head of Household.

The models receive a visit from actress Demi Lovato and discuss teen bullying; fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg serves as a guest judge.

PARENTHOOD: I Hear You, I See You
September 14, 2010 by Erik Wilkinson
Filed under #1 featured, Parenthood, Posts by Erik
Last year, America joined Team Braverman. Following tonight’s PARENTHOOD Season Premiere, I am pledging my allegiance to Team Joel! In a surprising turn of events, Executive Producer Jason Katims fashioned a script that centered around Joel Graham, the often-seen but rarely heard husband to ambitious attorney Julia Braverman-Graham. Sam Jaeger shined brightly in his scenes with Lauren Graham, Craig T. Nelson, and onscreen spouse Erika Christensen, as we witnessed a new star being born.
Just as Season One tested the resolve of the Bravermans’ commitment to one another, Season Two is shaping up as a battle of externals. New challenges in the professional arena, along with gut-wrenching decisions of the heart, mirror the difficulties being faced in households across the country. Backyard barbecues make for feel-good TV, but those gatherings are not possible without economic resources and personal stability.
Before this week, Joel Graham’s role on Parenthood was quite simple. Make sure Sydney made it to play dates on time, and gaze adoringly while Julia comes undone by her family squabbles. I give Sam Jaeger full credit for broadening his character’s point of view, and interacting so well with his castmates. My favorite scene of the premiere was Jaeger & Lauren Graham discussing Sarah’s ideas, and how he could build a desk for her to foster her sense of creativity. I cannot recall these two actors sharing a scene together in Season One, yet I teared up when Joel agreed to help his sister-in-law challenge herself to be more.

Paging Cyndi Lauper: You’re needed on BONES!

Ah, MY BOYS, I will miss you.
As EW.com first reported earlier today, the fun TBS series — which aired its final fourth season episode on Sunday — has seen its last hurrah.
Sources confirm that the cable network has canceled the comedy, which is not a major surprise to fans who’ve been paying attention to the numbers, but we’re still sorry to see it go.

BACHELOR PAD WTF Moment of the Week: Friend or Foe
September 14, 2010 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under #1 featured, Bachelor Pad, TV News
So, BACHELOR PAD aired its finale last night. Anyone else watch the series all the way through? Or maybe, more importantly, was anyone else a little surprised that the trashy series took a semi-classy turn as it ended?
While the episode started off with six finalists, by the end Elizabeth, Kovacs, Tenley and Kiptyn were eliminated, leaving only Natalie and David to vie for the cash.
But wait…”shocking” twist ahead! It’s not all it seems!
LIFE UNEXPECTED You Ask, I Answer: Marriage Bliss for Cate and Ryan, Bug in His Underwear, Baze Upset
September 14, 2010 by Korbi Ghosh
Filed under #1 featured, Life Unexpected
What to expect from LIFE UNEXPECTED’s season premiere this week?
We’re answering your questions…
Cate and Ryan are married, so I guess this means Baze has no chance whatsoever with her? -Peter
There’s always a chance! I mean, Cate and Ryan do seem blissfully happy together post-honeymoon, however the torch on both sides of the Baze/Cate coin is still burning. Don’t get me wrong, Cate is committed to Ryan. And she says some pretty harsh things to Baze this week. But she can’t just turn off the feelings she has for her baby daddy, they’ll always be there… and maybe Baze will be around to console her when she finds out Ryan has a past with some chick named Julia — to be played by Jamie Ray Newman — who’s still calling their house!
Now that LUX is in season 2, will we see more of the supporting characters? -meeshelle
I do believe that’s the plan, but the premiere only gives us a tiny bit of quality time with Jamie and Math. Math’s biggest scene in the opener involves Shaun Sipos’ (MELROSE PLACE) character, who may or may not be a colleague of his at the high school/may or may not be a love interest for Lux. Pick one. Or both.
Oh, also, Baze’s dad is back and their relationship seems to be pretty swell these days.
And we get to see Bug in his undies… which was a highlight of the episode as far as I’m concerned.
I saw your post about Arielle Kebbel from GILMORE GIRLS and Amy Price-Francis from 24 joining LIFE UNEXPECTED. Can you tell us more about their characters? -Ben
Yup, as you’ll see in the premiere, Kebbel plays a new bartender that Jamie hires who could end up tightening the connection between Baze and Ryan to an even more awkward degree. Stay tuned for that. Price-Francis plays a radio talk show host that Trina hires who could end up causing serious problems for Cate at the station.
What’s the major drama happening on LIFE UNEXPECTED’s second season premiere? Will it center around Baze trying to call off the wedding in the finale? -Mar2112
Not really, no. That’s but a small fraction of the major drama going down. All the aforementioned new characters are coming in and stirring up their own separate troubles: A break up, some lying, a hospital stay for one of our favorite people. There might even be a big fire that burns down an important building…
More LUX questions for me? Comment below!
And don’t forget to watch the season premiere tonight, Tuesday, September 14, at 8 p.m. on The CW.

Florence And The Machine’s VMA Performance: From the Brilliant Mind of SYTYCD’s Travis Wall

Florence and the Machine dazzled the star studded crowd at the MTV VMAs with her spectacular performance of “Dog Days Are Over”. It was one of the most talked about moments of the night. The highlight for me!
Watching at home, I couldn’t help but feel proud of SO YOU THINK CAN DANCE’s own Travis Wall who choreographed this year’s VMAs and brought this performance, in particular, to life with his inspired vision. I’m in awe of his talent. Way to go, Trav!
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes video of Travis and Florence preparing for the VMAs…
Amazing, right?! I’ve got the performance saved on my DVR and I don’t think I’ll be deleting it any time soon.
