CHUCK: ‘Chuck vs. the Push Mix’
January 31, 2011 by Kath Skerry
Filed under #1 featured, Chuck, Chuck Recaps
It’s hard to believe, but at the time of the construction of tonight’s “Chuck vs. the Push Mix,” the cast, crew and creative team behind CHUCK didn’t know if the show would live beyond this episode. After being picked up initially for only 13 episodes this season, tonight’s hour had the difficult task of being a season finale, a series finale, or as it turned out (thankfully) to be, a mid-season episode that will help set in motion the second half of the fourth season of CHUCK. That’s an awful lot to ask of 42 minutes of TV. But if there was anyone to do it, it was Team CHUCK.
Thankfully (or not, depending how you look at it), this isn’t the first time Chris Fedak, Josh Schwartz and team has dealt with this dilemma. In fact, having to wrap up their show mid-season only to have another shot at life is just kind of how they do things over at CHUCK. It’s not ideal, but the alternative is unbearable, so I’m going to go with being thankful and leave it at that.

To celebrate the return of GLEE after the Super Bowl, the cast (and characters!) have a few suggestions on how to throw a party even Kurt would be jealous of.
Who knew Matthew Morrison was such a whiz with a crock pot? Or that Heather Morris, unlike her character Brittany, actually knows how to read a recipe for tasty Peanut Butter Balls? Check out the video below to hear them share the details of those treats, plus Cory Monteith, Jane Lynch, and Naya Rivera talk about their signature dishes.

On GOSSIP GIRL, the kids swap romantic partners all the time. But recent episodes seem to indicate there is a new pairing on the horizon, one the series hasn’t really explored thus far. So with the recent hints that Blair and Dan might not totally hate each other, could the duo be heading towards — gasp! — romance? And what does that mean for tortured former lovers Chuck and Blair?
Give Me My Remote went to GOSSIP GIRL executive producers Stephanie Savage and Josh Safran to get the romance scoop straight from them…

Here’s something we haven’t talked about. Did you guys know that I’m now a DEXTER-watcher?
Yup, having heard the praise from so many of you over the past few years, I decided that I should really give the show a shot. I watched my first episode around Christmas time, and a few days after New Years I was officially caught up on the entire series. (And yes, I know that’s a lot of TV watching in one short amount of time. Listen, I never claimed to lead an exciting life). So now I get it. I get why the show has a massive fan base. It’s that good. Like, really good.
Want to watch DEXTER but just don’t have the time to play catch up? Just check out this video below and learn all you need to know. Ok, maybe not everything…but it’s pretty funny all the same.
We’ll be talking more about my experience with DEXTER on the next TV Talk Podcast. Stay tuned!

The guys from The Lonely Island are back again with another hilarious SNL digital short and this time around they got Nicki Minaj to help them out. Check out ‘The Creep’ as featured on last night’s SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE.
As with most Lonely Island songs, I’ll be downloading “The Creep” from iTunes today. And I know just who will be getting this song as their new ringtone.
Mark Zuckerberg & Jesse Eisenberg Meet on SNL

The Facebook founder and the guy that played the Facebook founder met up last night on the SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE stage last night. And yes, it was just as awkward as you might expect.
SNL host Jesse Eisenberg, who was recently nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, was first joined by Adam Samberg who was parodying Zuckerberg, before the real Zuckerberg joined them on stage.
Did you follow that?
No.
Ok, let me try again…
So Eisenberg, Samberg and Zuckerberg are all on stage..ah, forget it, just watch the clip.
