Showtime Picks Up CALIFORNICATION, Announces Premiere Dates and More

David Nevins, President of Entertainment at Showtime Networks broke several pieces of scheduling news at his TCA panel.
Take a look at the highlights…
- Fresh off CALIFORNICATION’s best-ever premiere, Showtime has announced they will pick up the show for next season. The series will go into production on its fifth year this spring.
- NURSE JACKIE and UNITED STATES OF TARA will begin their third seasons on Monday, March 28th.
- New series THE BORGIAS will have a two-hour premiere Sunday, April 3rd at 9 PM. It will debut in its regular timeslot April 10th at 10 PM.
- Showtime has picked up a new reality sports series focused on the 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants. The show is currently in production and will be shot over ten months. A series preview is set to air around the start of the 2011 baseball season.
