FRINGE: Preview ‘Marionette,’ Plus a Schedule Update
December 9, 2010 by Marisa Roffman
Good news and bad news for FRINGE fans: Thursday brings a brand spankin’ episode of one of the best shows on television…but it’s also the last fresh hour we’ll get this year.
However, the series’ winter hiatus won’t be as long as fans initially thought.
Fox originally announced that FRINGE would be moving to Friday nights starting January 28th, a seven-week break between new episodes. But now comes word that the show will return a week earlier (January 21st) for six weeks of uninterrupted awesomeness. The fun begins with “Firefly,” featuring guest star Christopher Lloyd. (Yes, you read that right — “Firefly” — Just like the beloved Joss Whedon series of the same name which died on Friday nights. Someone, somewhere has a wicked sense of humor.)
In the meantime, we get “Marionette,” which airs this week. Will the show be able to top the absolutely brilliant “Entrada” from last Thursday?
The jury’s still out on that one, but we’re thinking it’ll probably be pretty good: Olivia is back, the Fringe team is reunited and they begin working to figure out how a man can be alive after his heart has been removed.

And FRINGE fans, if you’re not already on Twitter, now is the time to join. John Noble (Walter) will be tweeting with fans during both the EST and PST airings of “Marionette”! Don’t miss out!
