CASTLE: 13 ‘Knockdown’ Teases

CASTLE fans, tonight’s episode is a very big hour for the series.

Beckett gets more insight into her mother’s murder, Ryan and Esposito are in top form, Captain Montgomery gets to be the big boss and, oh yeah, I think a few of you might be excited about Beckett and Castle finally kissing?

While I’m not going to spoil everything that happens in “Knockdown,” how about a few teases?

1. Beckett loses her cool and kicks some major butt in a semi-inappropriate place.
2. Beckett and Castle call each other by their first names more than once.
3. Lanie and Alexis are sadly MIA in the hour.
4. Anyone else frequently wish we saw more of Ryan and Esposito? I take that back. Not because they aren’t fantastic, but seeing more of them generally equals pain for one or both. I apologize in advance for what they’re put through tonight.
5. Despite the trouble Ryan and Esposito find themselves in, they manage to make more than a few wise cracks.
6. Castle and Martha have a conversation that is very similar to the one Beckett had with Esposito in the second season finale.
7. Captain Montgomery is forced to make an unpopular decision regarding Beckett’s involvement on a case.
8. That decision pits him against Ryan and Esposito who vocally disapprove of it.
9. Castle gets to see a side of Beckett he hadn’t previously seen.
10. We get a glimpse inside Beckett’s new apartment.
11. The Beckett-Castle kiss is longer than the released clip.
12. Arguably, the kiss isn’t the most important Beckett-Castle moment of the hour.
13. Beckett learns some important details about her mother’s case, but whether things are resolved…well, that’s something you’ll have to find out tonight!
