It’s not often we post clips from THE FAMILY FEUD here on GIVE ME MY REMOTE.com, but then again, the game show genre isn’t usually the go to for laughs. But we got a good chuckle from watching this moment. Just who are the people on this ‘survey’.

THE CHICAGO CODE: Jennifer Beals Previews Teresa’s Struggles

Fox’s newest series, THE CHICAGO CODE, premieres tonight at 9 PM EST and it’s definitely worth checking out.
The show is set in Chicago and follows members of the police department who try to combat political corruption on the job — but no, it’s not your typical police procedural.
“The show works on lots of different levels,” series star Jennifer Beals (Teresa) told reporters on a recent conference call. “It works on personal relationships. It works on action and more drama on the street, and then it works on the corruption that goes on within politics.”
And as Chicago’s first female superintendent, Teresa ruffles a lot of feathers as she sets out to clean up the city.
“She’s really creating the template for this job,” Beals said. “I just thought it would be very interesting to take that walk into what kind of a leader does she become in that position, and how do you balance your personal life with the demands of that kind of job.”

Monday. Ugh.
At least there are some solid small screen options to look forward to tonight, including the premiere of Fox’s “The Chicago Code.”
Check out the highlights from this evening’s TV lineup…
Chuck | 8pm on NBC
“Chuck Versus the Seduction Impossible”
In need of an exciting new mission, Chuck, Sarah and Casey are sent to Morocco to rescue Roan Montgomery (guest star John Larroquette). Meanwhile, Chuck and Sarah are at odds over their future plans. Back at home, Morgan prepares to meet Alex’s (guest star Mekenna Melvin) mom, as Mary (guest star Linda Hamilton) bonds with her family.
How I Met Your Mother | 8pm on CBS
“Oh, Honey”
When Zoey fixes Ted up on a date with her cousin, the gang resorts to calling her “Honey” after learning how naive she is. Meanwhile, Ted calls an intervention on himself after having an epiphany about his feelings for Zoey, and Barney gets acquainted with Honey in Ted’s place. Grammy Award-nominated artist Katy Perry guest stars as Honey.
House | 8pm on Fox
“Family Practice”
Cuddy’s mother, Arlene (guest star Candice Bergen), is admitted to Princeton Plansboro after complaining about unusual symptoms, but stubborn Arlene insists that House be removed from the case, forcing House to come up with non-conventional and illegal means to treat his patient. House instructs his team to follow his lead, and they discover details in Arlene’s personal life that she kept secret from Cuddy and her sister Lucinda (guest star Paula Marshall). Later, Cuddy places her trust in House to ensure that her mother receives the proper medical treatment, leading “by the book” medical student Masters to reevaluate her responsibility to practice within a code of ethics and to follow her boss’ orders.
Pretty Little Liars | 8pm on ABC Family
“Je Suis une Amie”
A crucial swim meet for the Rosewood Sharks is the setting for Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer to experience a lot of turmoil. Emily and Paige (Lindsey Shaw) go for round two, as they are pitted against each other to compete for the anchor leg of the big race. And Caleb calls in his favor with a guilty Hanna as she tries to deter Aria from asking too many questions about Ella’s ticket to the museum opening. As secrets start to be revealed and antagonists become less threatening, will this become a game changer for the girls? Meanwhile, Spencer takes on the task of tutoring a fellow student to try and get some answers.

When HOUSE returns with a brand new episode tonight, Cuddy’s mom, Arlene (Candice Bergen), falls ill and is taken to Princeton-Plainsboro.
As is the case with many of the patients House treats, Arlene is harboring a few secrets that Cuddy is unaware of. But that becomes the least of their problems when Arlene makes a decision about her medical treatment which forces House and his team to go to increasingly deceptive lengths to make sure they can figure out what’s wrong with her.
The solid episode also features a few powerful fights between Cuddy-Arlene and Cuddy-House as medical missteps lead to elevated stress levels for everyone.
Can’t wait for tonight?

TERRA NOVA First Look

Is anyone else ridiculously excited for the new Fox series TERRA NOVA?
According to the show’s official description, “TERRA NOVA follows an ordinary family on an incredible journey back in time to prehistoric Earth as a small part of a daring experiment to save the human race. In the year 2149, the world is dying. The planet is overdeveloped and overcrowded, with the majority of plant and animal life extinct. The future of mankind is in doubt, and its only hope for survival is in the distant past.”
But that’s not all…
“When scientists at the FERMI Particle Accelerator unexpectedly discovered a fracture in time that made it possible to construct a portal into primeval history, the bold notion was born to resettle humanity in the past – a second chance to rebuild civilization and get it right this time.”
I have to admit, this is a show I cannot wait to see. Critics were shown a sizzle reel at last month’s TCAs and it looked fantastic.
If you were watching the Super Bowl Sunday night, you may have spotted the first promo for the show’s May premiere. If you missed it — or just want to watch it again — check it out now!

Not Watching The Super Bowl? Check Out The Rest of What’s on TV Tonight

That little thing called the Super Bowl is on TV today. Who knew, right? But for those of you who couldn’t care less about the Packers or the Steelers, aren’t Black Eyed Peas fans, and don’t want to sit around waiting for the commercials, there’s still a ton of TV to choose from!
Before we talk about Super Bowl alternatives, let’s not forget that following the game is a brand new episode of GLEE.
Glee | 10:30ish (Post-Super Bowl) on Fox
“The Sue Sylvester Shuffle”
Coach Bieste and Mr. Schuester plot to bring the warring glee club and football team together; Sue desperately tries to win cheerleading Nationals; New Directions tackles Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.”
Here’s our guide to help you out:
TV MARATHONS
- Law and Order | Starting at 4 AM on TNT
- Law and Order SVU | Starting at 10 AM on USA
How will you ever be able to choose between the classic Law and Order and SVU? I’m a little partial to Detective Stabler myself, but you have hours and hours to decide your favorite.
- Jerseylicious | Starting at 6 AM on Style
Style, this just looks like you are counter programming to MTV who is showing Jersey Shore later in the day. But on the plus side, people will have plenty of choices when it comes to Jersey ridiculousness.
- Ghost Hunters | Starting at 9 AM on Syfy
- Ghost Adventures | Starting at noon on Travel Channel
Any excuse is a good excuse to be scared s***less…especially if the excuse is to skip football. And goodie, you get to pick your scary flavor between Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures!
- Jersey Shore/Teen Mom 2 | Starting at 11 AM on MTV
You can watch people fighting, screaming, arguing, crying and pulling each other’s hair, or you can watch the Jersey Shore and Teen Mom 2 marathon.

FRINGE: Should Peter Pick Olivia or Fauxlivia? Anna Torv Weighs In
February 6, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
After the events from “Concentrate and Ask Again,” viewers now know that the fate of the universes depends on whatever version of Olivia wins Peter’s heart. If he chooses our Olivia, Fauxlivia and Over There apparently will be destroyed. If he goes back to Fauxlivia, the universe and the characters that we spent the better part of three seasons with will go away. No pressure at all there, Peter.
Of course, as of now, the only characters that are aware of Peter’s upcoming choice are Sam and Nina. And while fans have their own opinions on which woman Peter should end up with, I caught up with FRINGE star Anna Torv (Olivia/Fauxlivia) at the Writers Guild Awards and got her to weigh in on the debate.
According to Torv, the issue might not be as black-and-white as we might think…

Hey SMALLVILLE fans! It’s been a while, especially after the CW’s decision to air the return of Season Ten a week later than scheduled. So, where did we leave off? The last time we we were treated to a new sixty minute dose of Kal-El and the crew, Clark had proposed to Lois! We were also left with that mysterious scene at Carter Hall’s funeral. Was it Darkseid that had Oliver, Clark, Lois and Star Girl all on the ground? That’s what I was thinking…

FRINGE Recap: ‘Concentrate and Ask Again’

FRINGE fans, we could talk in depth about this week’s case (long story short: creepy dolls release toxins that melt the bones of their victims), but it appears we have a much more pressing matter on our hands: Peter’s love life has suddenly become the most important aspect of the ongoing mythology.
It’s one of those things that is perfectly FRINGE-y: when it was revealed, I was in shock. But in hindsight, it makes perfect sense. Very rarely are things as simple as they seem and the Olivia-Peter-Fauxlivia triangle just reached epic levels of complicated.
SUPERNATURAL: ‘Like a Virgin’

Can you believe it’s been almost two whole months since we last saw the Winchesters? The wait has been cruel and unusual punishment for fans, no thanks in part to The CW pushing the episode an extra week. I was so disappointed to come home and find my DVR openly mocking me with it’s emptiness last Friday. But we can move past all that now because the show is back and so is Sam’s soul. Let’s discuss how it went down, shall we?
