It’s finally Friday! Wahoo! That means it’s time to stay in, curl up in front of the TV and peep lots of quality programming. Here’s what’s on tonight!
NAACP Image Awards | 8 pm on Fox
Wayne Brady and Holly Robinson Peete host the 42nd annual gala, which honors achievements by people of color in the arts. Tyler Perry leads the field with 19 nominations. Surgeon General Regina Benjamin is presented with the Chairman’s Award for promoting diversity and community involvement, and Gen. Colin Powell (USA Ret.) receives the President’s Award for public service in the cause of civil rights.
The Defenders | 8 pm on CBS
“Nevada vs. Greene”
Nick and Pete defend the son of a hotel owner who is accused of strangling a casino host in a hot tub. Meanwhile, a comic (Kathy Griffin) is sued for insulting an audience member.
Supernanny | 8 pm on ABC
“The Froebrich Family”
Jo comes to the rescue of a couple with five children (ages 18 months to 11 years) when the disciplinary methods for the family, who have been reeling since the death of the maternal grandfather, consist of a wooden spoon, hot sauce or nothing at all.
Smallville | 8 pm on The CW
“Scion”
Clark and Lois receive a stunning gift from Tess. Meanwhile, Tess and Lionel struggle for control of the Luthor name.
Who Do You Think You Are? | 8 pm on NBC
“Lionel Richie”
Singer Lionel Richie charts his family history by focusing on his maternal grandmother’s ancestry. Determined to solve mysteries surrounding her father, Richie takes an investigative voyage from Alabama to Nashville and Chattanooga, ultimately digging up a connection to the dawning days of the civil-rights movement.

Sam and Dean search for a deadly monster created by the Mother of All and are assisted in their hunt by Bobby and Samuel.
The Soup | 10 pm on E!
