March 7, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
GLEE’s Darren Criss is the gift that keeps on giving.
Not only did Criss perform “Silly Love Songs” on Monday’s episode of LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY, but he also announced that GLEE would be releasing an album in April filled entirely with Warblers songs.
Woohoo!
No word on which tracks will be included, but to tide you over until April, check out Criss singing earlier this morning…

I will most-probably buy that CD! The music is so much better than the show (right now) and I love a good a capalle and non-a capalle group song cover! 😉
Hmm, this should be interesting. It’s a little-known fact that the backing vocals and arrangement for the Warblers have been provided by the Tufts Beelzebubs, who were featured on the first season on The Sing Off. This is undoubtedly good news for them, as well as all the Glee folks.
I had a feeling they might do that once I saw the track list for Glee: The Music Vol 5 and NONE of Darren’s songs were on it 🙁 He is too talented to go unnoticed!
@Danielle, actually the Glee vol. 5 does have one of Darren’s songs – his duet with Lea Michele “Don’t You Want Me” is on there. Of course, once peope saw that’s the only song he has on it, they started speculating about a Warblers CD, because that’s the only song he did on the show (besides BICO) that isn’t a Warblers number.
So happy the speculation proved right! Will definitely buy this album.
