V: Scott Wolf Teases Major Death(s) in the Season 2 Finale

A possible perk of writing about television?
You might be invited to lunch with Bailey Salinger. Er- I mean, you know, the actor who played him — Mr. Scott Wolf.
Wolf — who is promoting this week’s second season finale of ABC’s V — met up with me and a couple other TV journalist types for a meal at The W’s Delphine restaurant in Hollywood on Monday, so he could share a few thoughts on what fans of the show should expect.
The most interesting of said thoughts? At least one of V’s regular characters will be killed off in Tuesday’s season ender. For sure.
Could Wolf’s onscreen alter ego, Chad Decker, be at risk?
Wolf noted that Chad, as a television personality in the public eye, does enjoy a certain level of protection from The Visitors, being that he is so visible. However, he isn’t completely out of the woods.
“In the finale, several characters are in this fatalistic place and [Chad] is one of them,” Wolf revealed. “Some don’t survive…At least one main character that people have come to know very well does not survive our season finale.”
Call me crazy, but I’m going to go out on a limb and make a guess that the smarmy C Decks is going to be just fine. Especially since Wolf — who, by the way, really seems super normal and down-to-earth, not at all like Chad — went on to chat about where the character could go should V get renewed for a third season: “He has the potential to be a heroic character or he could end up screwing it up for everybody. But that’s half the fun of it, not knowing.” Also, Wolf is just too pretty. Next to Morena Baccarin, he’s easily the series’ most beautiful, so they simply can’t kill him off. I said so.
But whom do you think really is in danger?
