BONES Scoop: Which Star Wants Their Turn in the Director’s Chair?

The BONES actors sure are a creative bunch.

David Boreanaz (Booth) has directed four hours of the series, including the episode which aired last night. Emily Deschanel (Brennan) will get her chance behind the camera next year. John Francis Daley (Sweets) cowrote an upcoming episode that will be airing in April. So which actor just revealed to me they want their chance in the director’s chair?

After talking with BONES star Michaela Conlin (Angela) about her costars getting involved creatively with the series, she told me she’d love the chance to follow in Boreanaz and Deschanel’s footsteps.

“Actually, it’s funny you say that because I would love to direct an episode,” Conlin told me. “I would certainly need to shadow some more and watch some of our directors like Ian [Toynton]. I just really started thinking about it as something that would be interesting. I don’t know if it’s going to happen on this show, but certainly in the future as something that I’m interested in.”

However, Conlin is willing to wait for her turn behind the camera.

“Emily has to go first, though, because she’s been chomping at the bit,” she said. “Hopefully her schedule will allow it. She works a lot, you know?”

    hope angelea ,jack, do more testing about baby/hope this is where brennan will really be that sister angelea needs,in my wishfull thinking they are about 6 ways this show could go for fans said good show 1 is bennan tells angelea I just dont want take that step with booth about more then a working relationships/2 is she takes personal times too many bodies/and booth cares.
