After weeks and weeks of being off the air, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES makes its triumphant return tonight! Oh, yeah, somebody’s getting voted off AMERICAN IDOL and BONES is new, too, but the Salvatore brothers are back this evening which will just makes this Thursday that much better.

“1 of 9 Voted Off”
It’s that time of the week where one finalist will be eliminated from the competition. Tune in to see who faces the chopping block and is sent home after America’s vote is revealed live.

“The Herb Garden Germination”
Sheldon and Amy experiment on their friends by spreading gossip, while Howard takes a big step in his relationship with Bernadette.
The Vampire Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“Know Thy Enemy”
Elena and Alaric both lash out at John (guest star David Anders) when Isobel’s (guest star Mia Kirshner) unexpected arrival leaves Jenna devastated. Bonnie works with Damon and Jeremy to find the spell they’ll need to harness her ancestors’ power. A heartbroken Caroline doesn’t know what to do about Matt. Stefan and Damon realize they have a new secret weapon.

“The Feet on the Beach”
Seven pairs of dismembered feet wash ashore after a recent flood on the U.S.-Canada border, but things don’t add up when six pairs of feet are identified as research corpses from a nearby university body farm. When Canadian forensic podiatrist Dr. Douglas Filmore takes the remains back to Canada, he and Brennan form an alliance to match the pairs of feet and identify the victim, and a rare and expensive pair of sneakers leads the team to the victim’s murderer. Meanwhile, Cam gets in hot water when she makes college plans for her daughter behind her back.

Michael confronts Nikita in her lair and reveals that he knows Alex is the mole. He tells Nikita that she has 24 hours to find Kasim (guest star Haaz Sleiman), the man who killed Michael’s family, or he will tell Percy about Alex.

“Unleashed”
Langston and Sara turn to Lady Heather for help in tracking down the culprit responsible for injuring a woman before she was seemingly mauled to death by a mountain lion. Meanwhile, Nick and Dr. Robbins manage to rescue the unborn baby of a teenage girl who appears to have committed suicide.

“Every Rose Has Its Thorn”
Patrick Jane sets out to prove a beautiful yet manipulative matchmaker (Morena Baccarin) shot and killed her husband after his body is found floating in the marina.
Randy Jackson Presents: America’s Best Dance Crew | 10pm on MTV | Season Premiere
“Ke$ha”
The first five crews audition for a chance to continue on in the dance competition in the Season 6 opener. They’ll have to choreograph routines inspired by Ke$ha, with the artist herself assigning the songs.
Archer | 10pm on FX
“Jeu Monegasque”
Malory and her agents travel to Monaco on a mysterious mission during Grand Prix week. Archer arrives with $4 million in untraceable bearer bonds, and he’s in the mood to gamble.
