SMALLVILLE: ‘Booster’ Preview

As Clark is struggling with a Blur-related identity crisis, a new superhero named Booster Gold (guest star Eric Martsolf) comes into town and blows everyone away. Booster makes flashy saves, has his own fan club, actively pursues Lois to do a story on him and generally sets out to steal Clark’s thunder. “I’m kind of a big deal,” Booster declares.

Martsolf is fantastically charming (in a very CASTLE-esque way) as a wannabe superhero who just wants the adoration of fans. And while Booster might be trying to steal The Blur’s thunder, the two might end up teaching each other a lesson or two.
