NBC’s new competition show, THE VOICE, kicked off its series premiere in high style: coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton rocked out to Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy.” (Green was part of Gnarls Barkley)

    Okay, I liked the premise and I liked the energy. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I am not sure about the teams, but I really liked Kelsey and loved Rebecca (in a Feist kind of way), but I think my fave was Vicci. Not sure though, because I really REALLY liked Rebecca’s voice. I’d pay to go to her concert right now.

    And Javier. Yes. Yes. I liked when Adam was trying to get Blake to push his button (sounds kinda dirty, but isn’t!), for a unanimous turn around 🙂

    The only ‘no’ for me was Carson Daly, if only because his questions to the contestants were really leading and guided toward drama, and a lot of the show seem centered on cutting through most of the reality tv drama-crap. I also didn’t care for the dramatic ‘hand over the button and then pull away’ camera angles, but whatevs.

    Wait, so Javier and Rebecca are both on Adam’s team? Then yes, Team Adam.

    Adam’s over-the-top motions of trying to get Blake to push his button during the Javier thing was ADORABLE. I was half-convinced he was going to get up off his chair and push it for Blake himself!

    I am not much of a tv watcher, but thank God I have Tuesday nights off……………The Voice is the best thing on Tuesday night……….don’t anyone call me at 9 pm….sorry you won’t get an answer LOL
