BONES Recap: ‘The Feet on the Beach’
April 8, 2011 by Sarah Curtis
Hello BONES fans! Here we are at the start of what promises to be seven straight new episodes, and I’m excited for that!
In this week’s episode, “The Feet on the Beach,” I found myself scratching my head in confusion a few times, mainly because I felt as if I should be learning some sort of lesson. And yet, at the end of the episode, I was left with more questions and a frown.
A lot of characters seemed to be taking the moral high ground but based on their own sets of standards and ideals. And when it came down to it, those differing opinions all combined to make me feel as if no one was right. Was Cam too hard on Sweets? Was he too hard on her? Did she get off easy with Michelle? Did Booth and Brennan come to any sort of agreement, or were their differences as magnified as ever? While Dr. Filmore WAS slighted and needed to speak to Brennan about it, did he have the right to say what he did to Brennan (and confront her in the way he did)? Were the discrepancies of opinion the point, or was it a case of failed attempts by the writers to show that the characters WERE in fact learning? Did I just miss it?
Who Went Home on AMERICAN IDOL?

I’ve been staring at this screen trying to figure out what to write. Just moments ago I watched the AMERICAN IDOL results show and I am not only shocked but also a little rattled by the contestant who left the competition tonight.
I don’t want to spoil those of you on the West Coast, so I’ll continue after the break.

Showtime is welcoming two new series to their original programming lineup.
David Nevins, Showtime Networks President of Entertainment, has ordered HOMELAND, a one-hour drama, and HOUSE OF LIES, a half-hour comedy.
HOMELAND will star Emmy Award winner Claire Danes — who will always be Angela Chase to us!! — Golden Globe nominee Damian Lewis — whom hardcore TV fans may remember from NBC’s LIFE — and Emmy and Tony Award winner Mandy Patinkin — whom, you may recall, peaced out on CBS’ CRIMINAL MINDS several seasons back.
HOUSE OF LIES will star Oscar-nominee Don Cheadle and one of GIVE ME MY REMOTE’s favorite girls, Kristen Bell. That’s right, friends, Veronica Mars is coming back to TV! Well, not VERONICA MARS, but you know, the chick who played her.

NIKITA Preview: ‘Covenant’

Comments Off on NIKITA Preview: ‘Covenant’
NIKITA finally returns with a brand new episode tonight and it is not one you should miss. The hour picks up right where we left off — with Michael in Nikita’s lair — and things turn nasty fast when he tells her she has 24 hours to find Kasim or he’ll reveal Alex as a mole.
Because of how big the hour is, I really don’t want to ruin it for you. But I can tease is that the episode flashes between the present and five years earlier. Pay attention to what went down in the past, because one key aspect will play a big part in the future.
Intrigued? Awesome. Tune in tonight at 9 PM on The CW to see what the heck I meant.
But in the meantime, have you missed any of NIKITA season one? The cast is here to help catch you up. Plus, check out a clip from “Covenant”!

BONES is back!
After enduring yet another hiatus, the show returns tonight for the first of seven weeks of brand new episodes.
So what’s on tap for the rest of the season? To get the scoop, Give Me My Remote went to BONES star Michaela Conlin (Angela) to talk about “The Feet on the Beach,” Radical Honesty, an upcoming surprise, whether she thinks Booth and Brennan should get together this season and more…
Thirteen Returns to HOUSE: You Ask, I Answer

Olivia Wilde makes her long-awaited return to HOUSE this Monday, April 11th, under very unusual circumstances. After leaving Princeton Plainsboro so suddenly, many fans speculated that Dr. Remy Hadley, better known as Thirteen, had disappeared to seek experimental treatment for Huntington’s Disease. Other longtime viewers expected Thirteen to reappear with a baby bump.
Judging by this preview clip for “The Dig,” at least one of those possibilities can be ruled out:
I was lucky enough to see “The Dig” before it airs, so there are plenty more clues about what to expect if you keep reading…

AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW returns to MTV for a 6th season this Thursday, April 7, and the competition series has made a couple changes.
First up, longtime fans of ABDC — not to mention SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE — will recognize Dominic “D-Trix” Sandoval as the newest member of the judging panel — and we ain’t complaining.
Also this season, each episode will pay tribute to a particular artist. This week, Ke$ha is the lucky honoree, but Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and the Black Eyed Peas will reportedly get their moment in the sun as well.
So, yes, be prepared for ten new dance crews — apparently with members as young as 10 to 13-years-old — to come to a living room near you tonight.

Rock and roll, AMERICAN IDOL fans! It was the theme for this week, and it’s a lifestyle for three bad-to-the-bone judges! We haven’t talked too much about Randy, J-Lo and Steven lately, so make some noise! Are you fans?
Last week, Naima and Thia were eliminated from the competition, leaving nine contestants still vying to end up in the AMERICAN IDOL Hall of Fame. This week each singer had to pick a song originally sung by a Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, or in other words, basically any song he or she wanted to.

Don’t believe me? Then definitely check out my chat with BREAKING IN creator Adam F. Goldberg and guest star Michael Rosenbaum (Dutch). Plus, what drew Rosenbaum to the show and what makes Dutch so, um, special?
