THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING Launches Online, Play Along
May 31, 2011 by Korbi Ghosh
Filed under #1 featured, The Nine Lives of Chloe King
In two weeks, THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING will premiere on ABC Family, but the network is getting bloggers and fans involved in the drama ahead of time.
Last Tuesday, an online game titled “The Nine Paths to Chloe King” was launched, allowing viewers to dive into the mysterious world of an ancient race called “The Mai” — a race which the show’s lead character, 16-year-old Chloe King, is just learning that she’s a part of.
The Mai, both god and human, are said to be descendants of the Egyptian goddess, Bastet — a feline, p.s.
Yup.
Here’s the deal: Around Chloe’s 16th birthday, she’ll begin to notice that she possesses some new cat-like abilities. And shortly thereafter, she’ll realize she’s being pursued by a mysterious entity. Apparently, the Mai — despite having a symbiotic relationship with humans and having protected them throughout history — have been hunted by human assassins for over a thousand years… and Chloe could be their only chance for survival, their chosen one.
The online game — which you can begin playing here — revolves around a circle of strangers (you, me and whomever else is brave enough to get involved) that will help lead the Mai to Chloe King, their “Uniter.”
I started on the first couple paths this weekend and encourage you guys to jump in now! It’s actually quite fun, as the journey kicks off by revealing a box of strange clues that will lead participants down nine separate paths, visiting several different sites online where exclusive content and more clues are doled out. The first player to successfully navigate all nine paths, reaching Chloe safely will win a trip (for themselves and a friend) to visit the set of THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING. There are other cool prizes along the way as well. In fact, you can get your free “Nine Paths” ring right away by visiting abcfamily.com/ninepaths and typing in the special code word — “circle” — into the box on the right hand side of the page.
So, yes, go for it. I’ll be playing right along with you… I’m about to begin “The Third Path” so start now and catch up to me!
The series premiere of THE NINE LIVES OF CHLOE KING debuts Tuesday, June 14 at 9 p.m. on ABC Family.

THE BACHELORETTE: A Wedding is Not a Good Idea for a First Date

Poor William.
While on paper, it might seem like an awesome idea that he had the first THE BACHELORETTE one-on-one date with Ashley, but I don’t know if he was quite prepared to get hitched to her that night.
Yes, apparently Ashley was worried that some of the contestants might not be ready for marriage, so on her date with William, she took him cake tasting, ring shopping and then to a wedding chapel.

Secret Life of the American Teenager| 8pm on ABC Family | 2-Hour Season Finale
“It’s Not Over Till It’s Over/To Be…”
In the first hour, Adrian and Ben prepare for their wedding, with each putting on a brave face for the other. Independently, however, Adrian confides to Tom, and Ben to Amy, that each is nervous about impending parenthood and is having second thoughts about getting married so quickly. Meanwhile, Ricky and Amy discuss Ben and Adrian’s doubts, but agree not to say anything and let them move forward with the wedding.
In the second hour, Adrian and Ben are settled into their condo as Mr. and Mrs. Boykewich. Katelyn, the guidance counselor, and Grace plan a little celebration at the school to welcome the newlyweds. Adrian loves all the attention, which upsets Amy. Ricky invites Amy to a romantic night away to show her how much he truly loves her. As Adrian and Ben are trying to fall asleep in their new condo, she feels something odd and calls the doctor.

FRINGE: J.H. Wyman, Jeff Pinkner and Akiva Goldsman Talk About the Two Universes. Plus, What Crazy Fan Theories Have They Heard About Season 4?
May 27, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Remember when our biggest FRINGE concern was over which universe would survive? Good times. Now we have a main character who may no longer exist.
But once upon a time — okay, a few short weeks ago — one of the big questions of the series was which universe of the two would be the sole survivor. When I talked with FRINGE producers J.H. Wyman, Jeff Pinkner and Akiva Goldsman earlier in the season, they seemed to imply that there would only be one universe left standing when the battle came to an end. But given how the season ended, is that still the case?
Plus, given all of the speculation about FRINGE season 4, what is the craziest theory the producers have heard? And what do they think of LOST co-creator Damon Lindelof’s theory about next season?

AMERICAN IDOL finalist Lauren Alaina might have been sure that Scotty McCreery was going to win it all, but when Scotty (very briefly) talked to reporters before the finale, he revealed he was really nervous.
After it was announced Scotty won the tenth season of AMERICAN IDOL, he talked with reporters backstage about his win, his relationship with Lauren, performing with Tim McGraw and why he feels he should get an album out as soon as possible.

While America was wondering who would be named the winner of AMERICAN IDOL, finalist Lauren Alaina had her own thoughts on who would take the top prize — she had a feeling her fellow finalist, Scotty McCreery, was going to win it all.
After it was revealed that Lauren did come in second place, she talked with reporters backstage about Scotty’s win, performing with Carrie Underwood, what kind of album she’ll be making and whether she and Scotty are a couple.
