With THE X FACTOR stars reporting for duty today, Fox has officially announced that former AMERICAN IDOL judge Paula Abdul has joined their esteemed panel.
“This show would never have been the same without Paula and I can’t believe I am saying this — I have missed her a lot, and I am thrilled she’s on the show,” said Abdul’s former IDOL colleague, THE X FACTOR producer/fellow judge Simon Cowell.

SUPERNATURAL Recap: ‘The Man Who Would Be King’

“Let me tell you my story; let me tell you everything.” What a great way to open the first ever episode of SUPERNATURAL from Cas’ POV, especially after a season that the angel has largely spent on the periphery of the action. I honestly didn’t know how I felt about this episode immediately after watching it; I had to sleep on it and reconcile the side of me that really loved the insight into Cas’s life and the new information we learned about his role in rescuing Sam from hell with the side that just felt like this was a lot of exposition, not much of it new, and that it was too close to the end of the season for so little action.
In the end, the side of me that liked the episode is winning out. If for no other reason than the fact that I really loved seeing the world through Cas’ eyes. I’m also very into the idea of Cas striking out on his own to do what he feels is necessary to win the war with Raphael, even if that means doing things like working with Crowley and lying to the closest people he has to family. Does anyone really want to see Sam or Dean working against each other again? I don’t; we’ve sort of exhausted the brotherly subterfuge at this point, right? But it’s always good for drama to have someone acting out of character and/or keeping secrets for the ‘greater good’, so I’m cool with it being Cas.

Hey SMALLVILLE fans! This latest episode, and the last, until next week’s series finale, brought us the return of a lot of familiar faces like Supergirl, Stargirl, The Toy Man, and several other superheroes and evil villains. But the main event of it all was Lois and her first experience wielding Clark’s powers! Given to her by Jor-El as a wedding gift, Clark’s biological father wants them to fully understand one another before they enter into their life union. What a gift, right?!
At first Lois is overcome with the excitement over all of her newfound powers. Buzzing around at super speed, breaking high heels left and right, she snaps a keyboard in half, and ends up throwing Stargirl through a wall! This all came after Clark and Lois decided to look into who was attempting to control the water rights in Metropolis – the Toy Man.
Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden Preview

If you’re a Little Monster, park yourselves in front of the television Saturday at 9 PM because you will not want to miss HBO’s presentation of Lady Gaga Presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden.
While more casual fans of Gaga may find their interest drifting in and out of the nearly two hour concert — which features her hits “Just Dance,” “Bad Romance,” “Born This Way,” “Telephone” and more — there’s no denying she puts on a great show. The behind-the-scenes element of the television special is limited, but as the concertgoers prove with admirable enthusiasm, any Gaga is better than no Gaga at all.
Check out a promo and clip from tonight’s concert!

FRINGE Recap: ‘The Day We Died’

Given the events that happened in “The Day We Died,” I had no idea how to even begin this recap. But then I recalled what FRINGE executive producer Jeff Pinkner told me when I mentioned jumping into the future for the finale was game-changing: “If you could allow us to tease for a second, it’s both game-changing watching it and it’s more game-changing when it’s over.”
Understatement of the century.
Holy moly. (I’d like to say other words, but I’m going to try and keep my language clean on the off-chance there are children lurking around these parts.)
In the interest of spoilers, if you haven’t seen “The Day We Died,” turn away now. We’re about to dissect the heck out of what just went down on our television screens.

Not only has Sheppard managed to keep several guest spots on the CW show completely on the down low until after they’ve aired, but he’s also resistant to reveal what Crowley will be doing on the series as season six concludes.
Keep reading for what Sheppard would spill about Crowley, keeping secrets from fans and more…

COMMUNITY Recap: ‘A Fist Full of Paintballs’
May 6, 2011 by Alanna Bennett
A year ago COMMUNITY’s “Modern Warfare” episode took the sitcom concept to a whole new level. Some (including this writer) took it to be one of the best episodes of any show that year. Why? Because it was epic. It took the conceit COMMUNITY had been working under all season — that they could play around with the same tropes as every other sitcom, but they’d try to do it a little differently — and worked it into a masterly crafted homage to action and apocalypse movies. And it did this all while simultaneously taking a huge leap with what was the show’s biggest will-they/won’t-they couple. Paint was spilled, references were made, and story arcs heightened. And it was glorious.
Last night marked the airing of the first of the two-part follow up to that legendary episode. And, if you don’t mind me saying, it was magnificent.
FRINGE: Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman Tease ‘The Day We Died’

FRINGE fans were thrown for a loop last week when upon Peter’s entry into the doomsday machine, he ended up 15 years in the future. Not quite the universe destruction that had been hinted at, but the future Peter woke up in wasn’t so pretty.
Dying to know what happens next? I chatted with FRINGE executive producers Jeff Pinkner and J.H. Wyman about the show’s trip to the future, what it means for season four, why they jumped forward and more…
