The Bachelorette | 8pm on ABC
“Episode 705”
The specter of Bentley still looms over Ashley’s chances for a happy ending as she and the final 11 men travel to the ancient city of Chiang Mai, Thailand. Still a little shell shocked, Ashley is optimistic that she can prove to her suitors that she has moved on and gotten over her disastrous disappointment attached to Bentley’s departure. However, Ben F. has problems opening up to Ashley on their magical, romantic one-on-one date. The dreaded two-on-one date pits Ben C. and William on a scenic raft sailing down a majestic river, and Ashley has a jaw-dropping way to settle the whole decision about who goes home. But will it lead to more heartbreak? And eight brave bachelors get the workout of their lives as they train in Muay Thai boxing and fight each other in front of hundreds of people. The competition takes a frightening turn as one of the men ends up in the hospital. Meanwhile, Ashley realizes she is having trouble bonding with the bachelors, but there are roses to be given out, and the guys sense it is make-or-break time.

“When One Door Opens”
Ben confides in his father that he’s not sure he wants to remain married to Adrian now that they don’t have a baby. Leo has a confession of his own, admitting to Ben that he’s not sure he wants to stay married to Betty. Adrian is still in a deep depression, but is cheered up a bit when Betty comes for a visit. Anne and George find themselves a little lonely with both daughters away. Meanwhile, Ricky gets upset with Amy when he finds out she lied about telling Adrian they moved in together, but will this tear them apart or bring them closer together?

“Portrait of My Father”
Now that Regina and Daphne have completely moved into the Kennish’s home, many of Kathryn’s friends and neighbors have begun asking questions. Kathryn decides it’s best to keep their situation a secret and devises a lie, in an effort to protect Bay, who quickly becomes victim to town gossip. Bay asks Daphne more about her biological father, but is shut down, leaving her more determined to further investigate. Meanwhile, John gets involved in Daphne’s basketball games, and it’s there that he meets Melody (Marlee Matlin), Regina’s best friend and Emmet’s mother, who also happens to be the school counselor and fill-in coach at Daphne’s school.
Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition | 10pm on ABC
“James”
Weighing in at 651 pounds, James, a 25-year-old former football player from Fort Worth, Texas, becomes the most obese person trainer and transformation specialist Chris Powell has ever worked with. James must lose 150 pounds to stay on track in the first of his four, three-month phases of weight loss. Chris hopes to motivate James to safely shed the pounds by bringing in help from former Dallas Cowboys star Nate Newton — who lost 175 pounds after once weighing 401 pounds — and one of James’ childhood heroes, Dallas Cowboys Hall-of-Famer Michael Irvin. After James incurred a knee injury in high school, his hopes of playing professional football were dashed. He turned his focus to computer work and spent long hours behind his computer, consuming unhealthy food.

The aspiring hit-makers display their rapping abilities, yet some contenders treat the challenge as simply a gimmick. Songwriter-producer Rodney Jerkins is the guest judge.

“El Sereno”
When a horrific mass murder occurs at a primarily Hispanic office, the detectives immediately begin investigating the remaining employees, as well as their clients. After arresting a potential suspect, the case comes to a sudden halt when a claim of racial profiling is made against the unlikeliest of sources. DDA’s Dekker and Stanton are forced to navigate through tricky waters in hopes of proving their case.

“…Deaf Blind Tumor Pee-Test…”
In addition to sweating out a mandatory urine test demanded by HR, Jackie tries to avoid an inevitable confrontation with Kevin in the Season 3 finale. Meanwhile, Coop’s combined birthday and wedding-day plans go off with a major hitch; Mrs. Akalitus is overjoyed to have her religious statuary back and in the hospital chapel; and Fiona gets a little too fired up in school.
United States of Tara | 10:30pm on Showtime | Series Finale
“The Good Parts”
In the series finale, Tara and Max head to Boston to see the expert doctor recommended by Dr. Hattaras. Elsewhere, Neil and Charmaine pack their bags for Houston and his new job; Evan proposes to Kate; and Marshall ponders where to go to college.
