Happy July 4th! If you plan to stay in to celebrate, there are going to be some fun options for you to choose from on TV tonight, including two different fireworks specials — one from Boston and one from New York City! Read on to find out the rest of your choices!
Secret Life of the American Teenager| 8pm on ABC Family
“One Foot Out the Door”
Amy becomes increasingly upset when Ricky insists John is not sick. Despite his feelings, Ricky agrees to take John to the hospital, where he makes the mistake of calling Amy his wife. As her emotions lean toward excitement, Ricky becomes withdrawn, causing their fight to escalate. With their arguing starting to affect their son, the two must re-examine if living together is the right thing to do. Meanwhile, Ben continues to look for a way out of his marriage, and Adrian may have just given him one. In a test to see if Ben still loves her, Adrian tells him she wants to go to cosmetology school in New York. Ben tells her to go, leaving Adrian to think of taking desperate measures to keep the marriage intact.

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular | 9pm on NBC
Nick Lachey anchors coverage of Manhattan’s 35th annual fireworks display, with slated performances by Beyoncé and country artist Brad Paisley. “Gift of Freedom” is the theme of the event, which pays tribute to the Statue of Liberty.
Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular | 9pm on CBS
Martina McBride performs with the Boston Pops, under the direction of conductor Keith Lockhart, at the Charles River Esplanade during the 38th annual Independence Day celebration. Michael Chiklis hosts. The finale includes an explosive fireworks display accompanied by the “1812 Overture.”
Single Ladies | 9pm on VH1
“Val Decides To Take a Break From Men”
A trainer pushes Keisha to the limit in more ways than one; Val is tired of bad first dates and decides to swear off men for a while; newscaster Sharon Love lets a secret about Val slip; and Darryl and April feud.

“Dogs Playing Poker”
After being caught sneaking out to be with Ty, the Kennishes force Bay to invite him over for dinner. Knowing this dinner is going to be an interrogation, Bay tries to prepare on all levels, but nothing can prepare her for the secret Ty reveals. Meanwhile, Toby recruits Daphne and Emmett to help him win a game of poker, but unbeknownst to them, this is a high stakes game and Toby may be in some serious financial trouble. With pressure to help her new brother, Daphne becomes conflicted when her morals start to outweigh her loyalty.

Nancy tries to adjust to life in New York City and gets a surprise when Andy and Shane, whom she thought were in Copenhagen, unexpectedly show up at her door. Elsewhere, Silas attempts to land a job as a model, and Doug pays a visit to an old friend.

“Musical Chairs”
Cathy tries dabbling in the supernatural after she’s unsuccessful at scoring a spot in a clinical trial for a new cancer treatment overseen by a renowned oncologist (Alan Alda). Meanwhile, Sean takes on a take-charge attitude around the house, and Adam uses his mother’s medical situation to his advantage at school.
