BONES Adds a New Squintern

Booth and Brennan’s bundle of joy isn’t the only addition to the team BONES fans should be anticipating this season — Fox has confirmed to Give Me My Remote that Luke Kleintank has landed a spot on the series.

According to TVGuide.com — who first reported the casting — Kleintank will play the Jeffersonian’s newest squintern, Finn Abernathy. It seems Finn is something of a kid genius (he earned his college degree at 16), but he has a troubled past. Given how many jokes have been made about Sweets’ age, should we start taking bets about whether poor Finn will meet the same fate?

What do you think of the addition of a new squintern? Were you hoping the show would bring someone new on after Vincent’s death? Or were you hoping we’d see more of the squinterns we already have?

    While I am quite enjoying summertime, I’m now extra eager for November to arrive. I’m looking forward to meeting the new character! 😀

    I’m taking a “wait and see” on the new intern. The character sounds as if he could be extremely annoying — not your description of him, Marisa, but what I’ve read on other sites re: “redneck charm.”

    He sounds like a character that will take a while to like… BUT i’m all in for giving him a chance, No-one with replace Zack or Vincent ( DUH! ) but he sounds quite intresting and can’t wait to see how it plays out! Plus, he has quite a cool name.. Finn Abernathy… got a nice ring too it 😀 But also, yeah, hoping to see more of the squinters we already know, mainly Fisher as we didn’t get to see him much in season 6.. or even at all… can’t remember :L LOVE MY BONES <3

    I’d like to see more of the old interns… Vincent was one of my favorites, but I really like Fisher too (he’s tied with Vincent, actually). I’m not sure I like where the show is going, honestly. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see in November..

    I like the old interns but we will see but bones & booth with a baby is going to be great that going to be tthe big thing. But the whole group is great I like them all
    It going to br an great season lot of laughts plus the crime and i can see Bones wanting to get into it and booth telling her to be careful because of the Baby it going to be great Cam,and all the cast.Lets goooooooooooooooooooo new season
