THE FIRM has added two new actors to the show in a recurring capacity, NBC and Sony announced in a press release. Tricia Helfer will play Alex Clark and Shaun Majumder will play Andrew Palmer.
THE FIRM — which is based off the John Grisham book — stars Josh Lucas, Callum Keith Rennie, Molly Parker and Juliette Lewis. According to the network, “the series continues the story of attorney Mitch McDeere who, as a young associate, brought down the prestigious Memphis law firm of Bendini, Lambert & Locke, which operated as a front for the Chicago mob. After a difficult decade, McDeere and his family now emerge from isolation to reclaim their lives and their future — only to find that past dangers are still lurking and new threats are everywhere.”

THE GLEE PROJECT Finale Recap

After ten weeks of exhausting competition, it all came down to tonight when the winner of THE GLEE PROJECT was announced! Before we discuss who won, though, we need to talk about everything else that happened in this jam-packed episode!
As always, it started out with the homework assignment. The contestants sang “Don’t Stop Believin’” for Ryan Murphy. When he stopped them at the beginning of the performance saying he wasn’t too impressed, I was nervous for them. But when he brought out the former contestants, I “awww”-ed out loud! I also thought it was cute they decided to dress in red as a tribute to tribute to the pilot of GLEE. Although they sounded perfectly acceptable and all twelve contenders’ voices blended, as I mentioned a few weeks ago, it’s a GLEE song you don’t touch. You could tell they had fun with it and that’s all that counts.

TORCHWOOD: MIRACLE DAY Recap: ‘Immortal Sins’

We slowed down the pace for last night’s TORCHWOOD, telling two character-driven stories from two different periods of Jack’s life. In present-day, Gwen will stop at literally nothing to save Anwen (and Rhys and Mary) from their captors, even if that means sacrificing Jack. We spend most of their story in the car, as Gwen drives a tied-down Jack toward a rendezvous with some bad guys. It’s interspersed with flashbacks to 1927, where Jack is on a very different adventure with Angelo, a young Italian immigrant.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY Promo

If you’re looking to find out what exactly to expect from the new FX series AMERICAN HORROR STORY, well, this new promo won’t exactly fill you in. However, it is appropriately creepy and you do get a bizarre introduction to many of the important characters who appear in the pilot.
In case you missed what the series is about, AMERICAN HORROR STORY revolves around a therapist (Dylan McDermott) and his wife (Connie Britton), who move their family to a creepy new home. Their marriage is troubled (to put it mildly), and whatever is in the house is using that fact to its advantage.
Take a look at the promo!

Fox has confirmed to Give Me My Remote that Stephen Root has scored the role of Sabrina’s father, Cap. According to TVLine (who first reported the casting news), Root begins shooting the role next week.

FRINGE Season 4 Premiere Changes Titles!

I hope you weren’t too attached to “A Sort of Homecoming” as the FRINGE season four premiere title.
“We will probably get in trouble for telling you [the title] and they will probably force us to change it,” FRINGE showrunner Jeff Pinkner warned us at Comic-Con after he revealed the planned name of the episode that will kick off the new season.
Turns out, he was right.
HAVEN: Sam Ernst Teases ‘Audrey Parker’s Day Off’

Sometimes, television episode titles tell you everything you need to know about an hour. Other times, they are vague or seem to be so out of character that you really don’t know what to make of it. Tonight’s episode of HAVEN falls in the latter category.
“Audrey Parker’s Day Off” sure seems self-explanatory…except since when does Audrey take time off? That seems bizarre, even in a town like Haven where abnormal is the norm.
To try and get some answers about what the heck is going on, I talked with HAVEN co-creator Sam Ernst to see what he could tease about the episode…

NIKITA Scores Former BONES Actress Katheryn Winnick
August 18, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Katheryn Winnick has landed a new TV gig — but relax BONES fans, she’s not heading to your show to disrupt Booth and Brennan’s baby joy. Instead, Winnick will appear in an upcoming episode of NIKITA, Warner Bros. has confirmed to Give Me My Remote.
According to E! (who first reported the casting news), Winnick will play Kelly, the partner Nikita left behind when she left Division. Nikita will encounter Kelly in the fourth episode of the new season.
Personally, I’m hoping Winnick gets to kick a little butt. As her BONES costar Emily Deschanel told us last year, Winnick is a martial arts expert, so she should fit right in with the NIKITA crowd.
Are you excited for Winnick’s appearance on NIKITA?
