Here’s the thing with Thursday TV – when choosing one show over the other, I feel like I’m cheating (on my TV boyfriends)! Too many TV shows, too many cute boys!

The Big Bang Theory | 8pm on CBS
“The Pulled Groin Extrapolation”
Leonard and Amy get to know each other better, while Howard and Bernadette spend the weekend with Mrs. Wolowitz.
The X-Factor | 8pm on Fox
“Auditions #4”
The live auditions in front of an audience of thousands come to close on THE X FACTOR. Don’t miss the unbelievable auditions as the judges make their final picks for the next global superstar or breakout music group to move on to “Boot Camp” and continue to compete for a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music. Find out who will bring the judges and audience to their feet and who will leave the stage in tears.

“The End of the Affair”
Klaus and Stefan arrive in Chicago, where Stefan is reunited with a vampire who hasn’t really moved on from her interest in him decades earlier. In a flashback to Chicago in the 1920s, Stefan comes face-to-face with a shocking chapter from his wild past. After Damon gets a tip on Stefan and Klaus’ whereabouts from an unexpected source, he and Elena follow their trail. Back in Mystic Falls, Tyler is concerned about Caroline and turns to Sheriff Forbes for help.

“Loner”
A cute jock named Luke asks Cassie to the school dance, and after watching Adam spend time with Diana at the boathouse, she accepts his offer. Meanwhile, Melissa sees the dance as an opportunity to get closer to Nick. Faye, on the other hand, has no plans to go and remains focused on finding a way to control her powers. Dawn discovers someone from their past, an intense man named Zachary, is in town asking questions about the Cassie and the Circle, so she asks Charles to keep an eye on him.

“First Date”
When Whitney realizes that she and Alex have never gone on an official first date, she comes up with an unusual idea to recreate the past. Taking this very seriously — as only Whitney can — she insists that they follow all of the “rules” of a first date, thus the two awkwardly go to dinner and cap off the night by sleeping in separate apartments. This gives Alex and Mark a rare opportunity for some much needed guy time. Meanwhile, totally embodying a post first date attitude, Whitney and Roxanne spend some quality girl time plotting Whitney’s next move with the “new guy,” but when Lily finds out what’s going on she recruits Neal to help her stage a “chance” encounter between the two lovebirds.

“Carnivorous Sheep”
Jane is called into Duffy’s homicide and kidnapping case after Sweeney calls for all hands on deck. Duffy gets irritated with Jane after she suggests talking with the deceased woman’s employees. Meanwhile, Jane meets Matt’s son for the first time.

“Frank Reynolds’ Little Beauties”
Frank finds himself in the child beauty-pageant business and fears that people might think that he’s in it for the wrong reasons. Meanwhile, Dee wages war on stage moms; and Mac, Dennis and Charlie think they have found a contestant to back.

“Little Red Book”
With Lisbon suspended and the rest of the team reassigned, Jane is reinstated as a CBI consultant and forced to work with a new team. During the investigation, Jane conspires to bring his former team back together.
Private Practice | 10pm on ABC | Season Premiere
“God Laughs”
Sam, Cooper, Charlotte and Amelia team up to save the life of their friend Pete after he suffers a heart attack, while Violet, who was in the middle of leaving Pete and LA, is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Addison’s desire to have a baby leads her to see Jake Reilly, her recent mystery man, in a most surprising place, and Sheldon tries to help Amelia in her battle with alcohol.
