Well, this is certainly appropriately timed: FX has renewed AMERICAN HORROR STORY for a second season.
Given the ratings, the renewal isn’t a shock, but I do wonder what season 2 will look like for the show. How many characters that we’ve gotten to know this season will continue on? Will there be a new family moving into the home?
What do you hope we get from AMERICAN HORROR STORY season 2?

Fox calls their new character, Allen Gregory, “one of the most pretentious 7-year-olds of our time,” and boy, are they not exaggerating.
ALLEN GREGORY, the network’s latest addition to the Animation Domination lineup, debuts tonight after THE SIMPSONS, and the title character is a piece of work. And when Allen Gregory is put into public school, not only does he have to get used to the changes in his life, but the world around him has to get accustomed to him.
I sat down with Will Forte (Superintendent Jeremy Rossmyre), French Stewart (Richard), Nax Faxon (Jeremy), Cristina Puelli (Patrick) and Joy Osmanski (Julie) to get their take on their characters, life with Allen Gregory and more…

CHUCK’s back! It’s been a long wait, but as episode 5.01 proved, it’s been worth it! Plus, geek heaven, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker of STAR WARS) was only one of the guests in tonight’s premiere. The only question is: Can Schwartz, Fedak et al keep it up through 12 more episodes? The bar is high, gentlemen!

In case you needed an early weekend boost, I’m thinking this video should do the trick.
Justin Timberlake dropped by LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON Friday night and luckily for us, he and Fallon performed the latest installment of their “History of Rap” mashup series. Oh, yes. It is back and it is AMAZING.
Take a look…
Can NBC just hire Timberlake already? Between this and SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, he seems to bring the best out in shows.

GRIMM Series Premiere Extended Preview

Comments Off on GRIMM Series Premiere Extended Preview
NBC premieres their new supernatural procedural, GRIMM, tonight at 9 PM. And while the pilot may not have totally won me over, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t give it a try for yourself and see if it impresses you.
So what is GRIMM?
According to the network, “GRIMM is a new drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Remember the fairy tales your parents used to tell you before bedtime? Those weren’t stories — they were warnings. Nick Burkhardt (David Guintoli “Turn The Beat Around”) thought he prepared himself for the realities of working as a homicide detective until he started seeing things he couldn’t quite explain.
“When his ailing Aunt Marie (guest star Kate Burton, “Grey’s Anatomy”) arrives, Nick’s life turns upside down when she reveals they are descendants of an elite group of hunters, also known as “Grimms,” who fight to keep the balance of humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. As Nick digs deeper into her past, he realizes that he will have to shoulder the responsibility of his ancestors — and contend with a larger-than-life mythology of the Brothers Grimm that is now all too real.”

CHUCK Season 5 Premiere Preview: ‘Chuck vs. The Zoom’
October 28, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under #1 featured, Chuck, Chuck Spoilers
It’s time for the final season premiere of CHUCK!
(I’ll hold while you sob and/or jump up and down. Both are appropriate reactions.)
Things are a bit different this year: Chuck and Sarah are married business owners, Morgan is the Intersect, and poor Chuck is trying to figure out how to be a part of the team without his special abilities. But just because things are different, that doesn’t mean its a bad change. (For instance, Sarah repeatedly calling Chuck her husband is adorably jarring.)
Basically, if you’ve ever watched CHUCK, I’d certainly recommend tuning in for the final season. You’ll get a feeling for where the year is going in the premiere and I can’t wait to see how it all wraps up.
Need a few more teases? Check out two scenes from “Chuck vs. The Zoom”…

Comments Off on NIKITA: Shane West Teases Surprises and Twists in ‘343 Walnut Lane’
After last week’s episode NIKITA fans are well aware there’s an inevitable bump in the road for Michael and Nikita — after all, Nikita now knows his ex, Cassandra, gave birth to his kid, a fact he is (as of now) unaware of.
The good news? Their relationship doesn’t seem to be suffering in the meantime.
Tonight’s brand new episode features Nikita’s reunion with her father (played by David Keith), and when I recently sat down with NIKITA star Shane West (Michael), he teased that Michael’s role in the hour would mainly be to support his girlfriend.
Take a look at our chat for that and more…
