Watch the HOMELAND Series Premiere Now!

Showtime’s new series, HOMELAND, debuts tonight after DEXTER, and it is so worth your time.

Not only does is HOMELAND the TV return of Claire Danes, Damian Lewis and Mandy Patinkin, but it’s also one of the best dramatic pilots I’ve seen in a while.

So what’s the show about?

The series follows Carrie Anderson (Danes), a troubled CIA agent, who becomes certain that the information that led to the recent rescue of U.S. soldier Scott Brody (Lewis) was actually an Al Qaeda setup. Carrie thinks that Brody was turned during his years in captivity and could potentially be planning terrorist activity on American soil. Unfortunately for Carrie, her past issues have people doubting what she says and viewers genuinely don’t know who to believe because there is no clear-cut “good” or “bad” here. The show exists — and thrives — in shades of gray.
