FRINGE: Lance Reddick on Alt-Broyles’ Future and More
October 5, 2011 by Marisa Roffman
Fans of FRINGE’s Lance Reddick (Broyles) got a big surprise during “One Night in October” when it was revealed that alt-Broyles was actually alive in this new non-Peter-impacted timeline. (I’m still so excited about that!)
But despite the joy now, when Peter inevitably comes back, does that mean alt-Broyles will go away?
Warner Bros. took a group of reporters up to Vancouver this week, and during a sit-down interview with us, Reddick answered that and much more about what fans can expect in the coming weeks from FRINGE…

I’m really glad alt!Broyles will still be here once Peter comes back, but at the same time, it worries me because that makes it sound like the timeline we once knew- the timeline of seasons 1 through 3- no longer “happened” in quite the same way. And I absolutely loved what was set up in season 3, like alt!Broyles sacrificing himself to save Olivia, and Fauxlivia having Peter’s baby, etc. Hopefully we’ll still at some point return to that dynamic of old, but, I have faith in the Fringe writers.
